Oh baby! What a wonderful chancelog. So many new maps, weapons, features etc.... EPICNESS!
Just one small thing what has allways bugged me seems to be "unfixed". You can still request crewman at crates what allows to SL build just him self FOB. Dont like it particularly when 0.9 patch raises FOB impotance. I hope testing team hears my cry and check this issue out for the next update.

Added BF2 1.5 alt-tab fix into the v0.9 installer as an option
As in the anti aliasing bug?

New SVD is not completed yet. 0.9 SVD is a total overhaul of the weapon short of having a new model.

There was a crash that would occur when AA was enabled.

Must be that then. Now I know why I never crashed.

Really dissapointed with rally point system, chechen fighters getting renamed and getting different enemys in maps like fools road... also the insurgency mod, now it will be impossible to win for insurgents.. but what excited me were things like BTR80 and ppl sitting on it and the rkg3 grenades doing damange to apcs! yay.

Hmmm...no Harrier. Still. I wonder if they have something against VTOL jets. Considering PRs aircraft maps- i wonder if they have something against anything air support outside of transport helos

Besides the fact that jets are useless on the vast majority of PR maps?

For a while now, there has not been the addition of a sidearm for any of the 'regular' soldiers on the US / Brit / Russian / etc sides.
Since a sidearm is a standard requirement and regulated piece of field equipment for these Military organisations, and taking into account the upcoming introduced Military forces, are there any plans for additions of sidearms to regular kits for these factions at all.
Considering the developers go to great lenghts to 'get it right' (and damn do they ever!), in terms fo equipment, uniforms, materials etc, would this not be an appropriate issue to address and include?
(Note: Obviously it would not be appropriate for this option to be extended to Insurgent/Militia/Rebel groups).

uh, actually they dont carry side arms, only officers, MP's or other POG's do. Its one of the things PR changed from BF2 in order to "get it right".
Im sure talking to one of PR's Military Advisors like Eddie Baker will make things clearer than I can.

When we've got new 4x4km USMC/GB maps like Jabal 2 or Sangin we'll likely see the Harrier finished, right now it would be kind of overkill on Qinling since there's already a Tornado and Typhoon.
It's a case of lacking large enough maps to use all the jets rather than a prejudice towards the assets.
Although fighter jets dogfighting over a 4x4km space containing 2 opposing airbases is one of the less realistic aspects of PR.

Added new Spectator "PR Bot" vehicle for movie makers and server admins, with six axis of movement and camera zoom abilities (Only available on passworded servers, spectator camera deletes itself when you exit)
Now that is a damn nice feature in itself. That will make a lot of moviemakers happy. Sweet doesn't even begin to cover this feature!
Huntermed, hope you've seen that bit!
Could that have been the secret robot thingie with a antenna on the head maybe in the movie?
