In real life these type of CSBs can only be placed in water that isn't too deep but since there are other types of bridges that can be placed in deeper water, just that they take longer to setup/construct we are going to allow these CSBs to be placed in much deeper water than they realistically would just to simulate the other type of bridges out there and the extra construction time will be simulated ingame by how many sections your going to have to place down and it's not going to be east to place that many sections down, so rivers like the Qwai river, Jabal river etc will be crossable but it will be quite a headake to do it and you will most likley not see it happen very often.
How ever your not going to see these bridges being built across the sea towards a carrier....

Happens quite often on Basrah, either you get stuck on the island where the palace is on or on the one to the north of it.

If the insurgents are devious enough it happens, just let the unsuspecting enemy armor onto the island then blow the bridge when they get over

If they don't bail out at first they eventually build mental health issues and turn on themselves.

If you could make the predefined points less obvious, at least the texture matching the surrounding terrain this would be my favorite update so far.
Other than that, excellent job, i can't wait to see more complex deployables and building/logistic system.

Great job Rhino....
Thanks to everyone involved for your hard work and time. Every time I get in a server my face melts from how fun PR is. Y'all are awesome.

Have the bridges been tested with other factions vehicles to make sure they don't have any problems with the width and stuff? I'm taking it that they'll work alright, but I just thought I'd ask.
Anyway, I love this. I stopped playing PR online a while ago due to work load, but seeing this makes me want to start playing it again. Really excited

When working out if the real life sizes would fit our vehicles I did import a bunch of generic models to check the width was all ok and it seemed fine. I aint tested every single vehicle mind you but I doubt there is any that wouldn't fit on if a Challenger 2 and a Land Rover can both fit on fine, that's pretty much both extremes there in size, anything else is pretty much in the middle of them two, other than a motorbike or quad bike which can just use one side.

Good job. Also sweet idea to answer the questions in public. Keep it going just like that.

Nice addition, this is a big advantage for the conventional forces, in Insurgency gamemode, especially on Al Basrah you can cross the rivers now much more easily, as bridges and fords are mostly mined or there are IEDs or even worse Artillery IEDs.
I love this one

I wonder how many people would have compared these with the impact they would have on Insurgency and Al Basrah if we showcased this on anouther map?

I'm guessing pretty much the same. Was playing Al Bas the other night in an APC squad - All the bridges to the island were blown and all I could think of was I wish the damn CSB's were in this build so we could get over there and support the team!!
