FH2 didn't deserve the prize IMO, Third Age and Nightmare house 2 was AWAY better!

I thought some one said PR BF2 could win again?? w/e


Congrats to FH2, IMO its not the really the best mod out of the ones available, but its still a very good mod

It is played quite a bit in Europe and in two tournaments, so there are some votes it gets automatically. On top of that the devs released some news updates during the voting period, catapulting it to the main page of mod db and perhaps catching some stray votes. O top of that, many mods with more players already won the price a few times, thus falling out of the winners list.

Actually theres alot of People. FH2 has two Tournaments (FHt and WaW) and many players (Most of them innactive)

I dont know these other 3 mods, except for Fh2. But i believe FH2 deserved it, since day one i been playing FH2, alot of stuff has changed, cant describe it all but FH2, in its first steps as a released mod, was pretty bad, now its way way better. They really improved themselves.

Well that was... dumb.

What's the point of entering the contest if we can't even win anymore? Publicity? Congratulations to FH2, I guess.

as for mod of the year, well i think they could have at least mentioned PR in the video

Well that was ridiculous, the mod that gets the most votes should win, simple. Absolute farce to have anything less.

PR is like God ... u know it's there... u know it's the greatest, you just take it as a fact and sidestep it sometimes.

If it makes you feel any better, it also happened to FH2 last year. So if you release a patch next year you should have good chances of coming out on top in 2011.

Hey you're right... well FH2 also released patches every year and got an honourable mention. I suppose their rating system for what a "major" patch constitutes is pretty arbitrary. For instance, FH 2.2 was a waaay bigger patch than 2.3, yet: honourable mention.

Although I don't have a definite number, the voting apparently was not close and we surpassed 2008 moddb vote results. It is safe to assume we got more than double that of FH2, for example.

FH2 has much better quality textures than PR and their maps are of amazing quality so why everyone is annoyed? (despite the fact PR didn't win)

but god hasnt been proven to exist and be the greatest while PR HAS GRRRRR
