maxed running 4 gigs of ram gigabyte hd 6870 factory over clocked and just an amd athalon 2 cpu at over 100 fps in game

I run all maxed out and my gpu is still basically idling at 20ish %. My fps still sucks on most maps. I blame the maps.

a mix between high and medium (geometries to max for max view distance) and anti-aliasing to 0 so i cn see fuckers floating above hilltops

Just to show you up:

Finally got my new gear! i7 2600k + MSI P67A-GD65 (b3) + G.Skill 8gb DDR3 1333

OC'd the i7 to 4.2 from 3.4. still running well under 70 (runs about 62 playing arma... about 58 playing PR, 53 idle which i could fix with a better cooling system.)

getting 70fps on fallujah is awesome.

And in xp, i don't get the random texture-on-high issue anymore. ^_^ I can run high textures.. no crashing.

One would think in 2011, the amount of people in "high" would be higher (no pun intended). The BF2 engine is old.

High settings, maxed out. Has been since BF2 came out, and won't change.
