A great way to insure you have the game you want is to dominate the SL positions.

Take the guys that you were going to have in your SQ and use them a different way. Your 3-6 clan mates, friends or what ever. Instead of playing together in a SQ play together as a platoon. One of them the armor SQ, one of them the Infi and so on and so on. Not only will this ensure that everyone is supported, you will be more effective since everyone knows the "plan". Yo9u know what to expect of them and they know what their going to get from you.

I think alot of the time the unfamiliarity of other SL's is what keeps people from working together.

This in part is what makes servers like TG and others a step ahead. The regular player base know one another well enough to understand the dynamic of working together well. Thus increasing teamwork and enjoyment for tactical minded players.

Pr is moving into PR Arma 2, if you want a more indepth and awesome experience go there. But the main thing about PR, will always be Teamwork. Its the core ingredient. All the other stuff is just icing.

Or in a pizza speech, the dough is teamwork, and the filling is just cool sounds and effects.
and then there are food critics who can't cook  :-)

The thing i think most of us have to do. Is stop hatin, and start playing for the ones around you. Dont get on to play for yourself, but for the pleasures of others around you.

I do that, everytime. Sometimes i fail, and people complain their ears are bleeding, that might be true. But it still makes people smile i think. And having fun, aswell as using teamwork and communication makes a good game for me.

Having cool explosions, cool looking veichles and weapons are just extra.

So start thinking of why you play, then act accordingly. Sometimes though, people fail to understand the concept of your goals, and linking them to how to make it so. Such as, hey i want to help this squad over there by going apc. And then you charge their position with APC. Whilst infact, they wanted to be "stealthy". And you just made them seen by all.

Communication is the first step to a good game. The rest is up to skills and your tactical experience in game.

Easy teamwork at the cost of realism. Not for everyone. Plenty love their pizza, but they're clearly a different audience to the one that liked the cake.

Teamwork is only easy when you work at it.

Well said breh but think about the notes truism and you have made and mix it together and it blends a perfect plan for teamwork and strategic planning, things like preventing the players moving out of base before a certain time limit after deployment, or, preventing the use of sprint during suppresion is a perfect way to make the player re-think its strategy and to maybe plan it out a little better before charging off.

Imagine if your map didn't show friendly or enemy positions, and comms didn't work half the time inside the squad or to other squads. Imagine if your logistics drivers had to make sure they had the right crates to resupply each individual squad. Imagine if to call mortars you had to gives grids and azimuths and heights. Imagine if LAVs were on a different radio net to your infantry and the only way to communicate with them was chinese whispers through higher HQs. Imagine if you didn't play the same maps over and over again so that telling people where things were required standardised proformas.

I could go on, but the point is clear. From Deviation down to the map, PR sacrifices realism to make teamwork easier to achieve. The entire game is structured to make teamwork desirable and easily achievable. That's the calling card of the game.

It's full of ex-military and teamwork players. there is a reason why it's the number one Bf2 server.
Its just the most played server but its most defintley not the best in PR.
I find it annoying when H members say that but it still its alright but not the best!

One fault with your logic is that you can't have infinite maps. You can have multiple scenarios (which is already done for next patch) but it's impossible for new of everything.

I think this is what he meant and i can understand, like an old example ill choose Al Basrah. Its never been changed, their's never a new scenario and i could say pretty much everybody know's where to look for the Obj.
