Server lag is pretty unbearable at the moment.

The servers were not displaying, we set up the server on the unconfigured event server and unlocked it. It has no custom settings, it also has not been set up at all so I had to reconfigure it. And I thought I finsihed that properly but I was wrong. I apologize.

We were not able to figure out why our servers were not displayed in the server list, but a simple port scan suddenly made them appear again. Incidentally we think the master server responder was clogged or something.

Anyway the servers are back displaying themselves and being all cool and stuff.

As for your server lag, I was informed dragon fly was causing some issues, I will look into the issue and possibly move dragon fly to the blacklist. Although I must just remind you the server is located in central United States and you live in Australia @camo. Any serverlag you might experience is probably increased proportionate to the ping you have to the server.

HOWEVER. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT ON THE SERVER.

I'm getting really pissed off when I'm recording videos on the server, just trying to play the game, and people spam me over comms, treating me like shit, and demanding I "fix their problems."

If you have feedback, suggestions, or want to offer help you can contact me on all the places we make it possible for you to contact me. You can message me with ideas, or a recommendation, or whatever you want. We'll probably even try it if we haven't already.

However I don't want you spamming me over squad comms, treating me like shit, while I'm trying to record content, and just play the game. I'm not your butler. Treat our staff with respect or I swear to god. This entitled bashing makes me want to work on the server less, not more.

You know none of them are going to read that here....just give them an ingame warning and if they still do it then kick. Simple.

Could you please have admins on when the server is full, thanks.

Yeah but then they ***** about it and start yelling at everyone over "admin abuse" so I have to at least write this somewhere, so them not reading it is their fault.

It is really EASY to fix your lag problems. Ok, let me help you a little bit to fix the cancer. Tell me: What machine you have. What SO you have on this machine (including, if you build Vms). How much you pay and what game severs you run on the machine. Answering me everything, and i will give you the SOLUTION.

There is currently a recurring server issue that is causing temporary bans and even removed permanent bans to be maintained. I have started an investigation of this and will hopefully fix it promptly.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

A small team of system admins are currently working on the server lag issue. Moving the server to another box is not going to happen in the near future.

I appreciate all the helpful tips and suggestions on this forum and our own, I hope the service we cater will improve shortly.

4.1.4 - Assets that have a weapon larger than 14.7mm is forbidden until there is a minimum of 40 players in the server (20 vs. 20 per team).

The rule has been updated.

Wait this mean >= or >?

Because if is >, you "can" (just taking this rule as definer for heavy assets) use BTR-80 before 40 players

I would like to report something that happened today (12/2/2016) on FCV (at around 16h PRT)

One of your admins (Gunnyy) created CAS squad on Khamisiyah (AAS, alt) during the warm-up. There were 2 ppl inside (gunny and 1 other player), I joined the squad and then 1 more guy also joined after me.

Then gunny and the 2 other players of the squad made a fob to wait untill the planes spawn. I was doing the air transport job during this time, communicating with the squad leader for pick up request, crate drop etc etc.

When jets were about to spawn we all came back to the airfield. Then he kicked me without talking, without any warning or any kind of formula like "see u" or "bye bye", he just kicked me like shit and locked the squad. Why? because a friend of him wanted to play cas but there are only 4 jets, so 4 pilots max.

I reported this situation to all the admins with the !r command 2 or 3 times before getting an answer, from JTF Hitman2actual​ (if I remember correct), who told me it's allowed to kick ppl like this way. Gunny said, after hitman's response, that "he warned us during the 20min wait that he was reserving slots for friend", I didnt ear such this talks during the 20min.

If it's allowed to kick after 20min of wait, my apologize for this report, even if the way this guy kicked is totally disrespectfull. For this last point I would like to simply quote the FIRST rule of FCV:

1. Always be kind and courteous to your fellow members and Admins, this doesn?t mean you need to suck up to them or take any of their insults or profanities, it simply means to keep your cool.

Please read this message not an attack against FCV but about this admin behavior.
