Finally, 97%! been dling since 10 AM this morning, and finally finishing up at 7:10 PM, by FAR the longest (yet most rewarding) download i've EVER done

I uploaded the file to fileplanet as soon as it was available. They have a trouble ticket pending to get the file moved, once that's resolved it'll be available.

As has been previously pointed out by various people, make sure you limit your upstream to 70-80% of your upstream and not higher. Azureus has an auto speed option which does that for you.

So far about 50% of people have kept seeding after the download. Thanks! For those who are considering turning it off after they're done downloading, please consider simply limiting the upstream to something that won't harm your playing but still contributes.

My Speeds are currently this:
D: 70.5kb/s and U:20.Kb/s

they do change though and seem to spend most time like this:
D:53.9kb/s and U:41.3kb/s

Giving me an eta of 5h 36m, I have NO FIREWALL on and always disable everything to do with it when downloading massive things like this.

Set about 80% of your brutto upspeed (which what are you synced to DSL) as maximum upload speed on bit torrent.

And consider using traffic shaping like as cFos or cFosSpeed does - it's working well for me for a long time.

im not clever with maths, so whats the 80% I need 2.5mb?

Somebody shoot me, this is just taking the piss. I've been trying for 14 hours to get this file now, torrent was a slug, so I left the PC on direct download overnight, to get back to CORRUPT FUCKING FILE AAAAARGH

the exact same thing happened to me, go torrent now, its well fast

Yeah ETA down from 2 days to 4 hours now.

Ah jeez, I'm not the only one who uses this PC, man am I gonna get a headache...

Like i said, Bt may seam slow at the start but in the end it is faster and your less likely to have a corrupt download. (in fact ive never had a single corrupt file from bittorrent)

I don't have much time for games anymore but this is special. I'm downloading this now and will re-install BF2 just to give PR 0.4 a crack.

EDIT - Talk about random, I just noticed that this was anounced today. I hadn't thought about PR for awhile but today I happen to drop by! There must have been too many good PR vibes being put out.

i used direct download took me 2 hours... and wheres support gunner, do brits not have one? or is it like a pick-up

I think all the support MGs are pickup/request kits.
