I only got to play in C9, the last PRT campaign, but I still hold that those were some of the best PR games I've ever played. It's the camaraderie with your squad mates that's unmatched by pub play. Even though I don't have much time to dedicate to a tourny anymore, I would still love to see it back.

Any major events would be awesome

Once upon a time, back in campaign 8 (or maybe 7), when I was in Viper platoon, we were tasked with defending the temple flag in Qwai river, a backup FOB and area denial. I sat on an AA emplacement for about 2 hours, until I had to ask the other guys if they heard a chopper. I was so intent on making sure I was staying alert that my computer fans started to confuse me

Eventually a little bird comes down and lands right next to us, he drops flares, I fire the missiles....

...the AA missile lock on a flare and kills my SL. The little bird is fine, then the round ends, GG, medals all round.

The moral of the story is that even though we were just sitting round swapping jokes on an empty flag, it was still fun to be part of the bigger picture.

I have much more cool stories of the old Cougars, Tigers and Vipers, for another time.

Here's one story from C9, Kashan Desert.......

CATA as MEC vs NATO as USMC

We (Jackals, mortar squad) were deployed somewhere SE from S bunkers behind some lil hill....... after 20th minute, when ATK choppers spawned, suddenly, somewhere near above us, there was chopper fight, Havoc vs Apache... CAJ or I don't know who, sat on stationary AA and started aiming for apache........ Next moment we hear "bang, bang"... two AA missiles launched into air, we look up, we see apache dropping flares, and then, moment of silence... missiles turning in direction of our Havoc.. - BUM, direct skilled shot... LOL

It wasn't me.

Hence Id like to hear some ninja stories. Or uber leet assault infantry ones. Where the hell is Rex?
