How about a punt gun boat

Basically a 2 gauge shotgun mounted to a boat for beach assaults such as jabal and oman.

Fired from a boat:

That gun looks like it belongs in Garry's mod, not PR. ;)

I vote for its immediate inclusion as a pick up kit.

Imagine turning a corner on Al Basra and finding yourself looking down the barrel of one of those things! :p

Random: Are shotguns even used in the real world military? The only time I've ever seen them used is for breaching, and since there's no breaching in PR....

It's usually used as a sidearm to a rifle or SMG from what I've gathered. I'm probably wrong though.

Yes, they are, but they are a specialized weapon not used under all circumstances. Breaching is one application, but they are also used for less-lethal rounds (for riot control and perimeter security), and are excellent in extremely close combat such as urban terrain and the jungle. Outside of designated squad breachers or point-men, you usually see them in the hands of military police and other security forces (like the Marine Security Guards at US Embassies).

Not really a sidearm, more of a multipurpose secondary weapon, like the M203. A breacher will carry either only a shotgun as a primary, or a shotgun in addition to a primary weapon. In the second case, some shotguns can be attached beneath a rifle instead of a grenade launcher and others are slung and transitioned to when needed.
