Have you guys considered a paradrop spawn far behind German lines at the start of the round for like maybe 10 guys max?

1. On Merville there is a ladder clipped into another ladder inside the G5KP2 Bunker. I tried to take a picture but it failed... Just take a look, its in the Wermacht spawn.
2. The word/map title "Merville" is not capitalized on the kit screen. This happened as US I assume it is the same as German.
3. On Omaha, the Belgian gates on the road leading from the beach are still indestructible. I understood that they were supposed to be blown up for the tanks/other assets to get through. I am talking about the ones by the center PAK bunker and the houses in the center valley.
4. Feedback on Merville: The map is confused. On the mode where the Germans must defend the center, the Americans just assault it and take it. That's it. To be honest, I was not hit with the usual PR feeling where the battle is different or there is something neat to take advantage of. The US attacks period. In the other mode, the US has to skirt around the German HQ while the Germans have to attack in three different directions. Interesting idea but still a lot of the same. Same as Carentan at least. Run through field, attack town, hold town, move on.
Now, I appreciate the attention to history, and the realism these maps imitate. I also thinke Merville has a lot of potential. Assaulting a major German artillery battery is a neat experience, however this experience did not have the right mood. I didn't want to attack it, there was no incentive besides the fact it is in the center of the map and has an objective.
Where's the intense trench warfare from Omaha? Or the close quarters of Carentan? It is confused as I said. Realistic yes, fun eh.
I think the map would work very well in both modes if the setting were different. Now imagine this... Paratroopers coming down at separated drop-zones around the South and West sides of the battery...AT NIGHT, or dawn. This way the Germans can use the AA guns, it would add to the atmosphere and the chaos. The night would mean attacks could come out of nowhere. It has a lot of potential if you literally pulled the historical clock back a few hours and changed the ground forces to airborne forces.
Aside from this, the Germans need a logi. Even if it doesn't have a re-spawn.
Keep up the fantastic work.

Good Morning,
WHY WHY did you guys change the distance needed between the crate and the FOB? Now I have to build the FOB right next to the crate with the possibility of destroying the crate. I mean, this changed in the last update. GRRR
Lastly, the legend on the Merville map said it was a 4k map not 1k.

Seem to crash a few times on Omaha beach as soon someone shot the bazooka out of the landing craft. Unsure if this is the cause.

I was wondering also if there could be a paratrooper transport plane where people could spawn on it, aswell as supply drop?

Airborne stuff was in a older version of PR:WW2 and I think most people on the team want to see it come back Just need to find the right map and all for it. Can't just add it as a gimmick Suggestion in that regard are always welcome!

guys, Merville is so epic and this is my beloved map till now. we need more maps like this. I wish there will be a map ( I mean real in history point of view ) that there are 4-5 shermans that are advancing to german lines through a vast field and I am waiting them with anti-tank grenade in a pit.

Truly awesome!
Having a blast playing this. Brings back memories of MOH: Allied Assault.
Carentan is a beautiful map and so much fun!
Imo, Omaha needs a bit of balancing though. I was Commander on US side yesterday and it was quite impossible to land on the beach, to set up a fob and to push further inland. The Wehrmacht was too well organized and even 5 well organized US attacks (Area Attack,Tanks, everybody concentrading on one waypoint) were unsuccessful and we agreed to run next. Only thing I forgot, was to tell my tank squad to smoke the landslide. This could have been a game changer. Idk...
-----
Mineral, you mentioned the Airborne. Maybe, you can implement a time and squad name (AIRBORNE) locked based paradrop system to Omaha.
Every 10-15 minutes (interval simultaneous with the Area Attack) this and only this Airborne Squad can paradrop behind enemy lines. Would be great
Thank you very much for your hard work !!!

Am I the only one who thinks the Americans should not build a FOB right on the shoreline? Whenever I'm a German I just hop in the mortar and spam airburst (not HE) all over the FOB to farm kills from the Americans spawning on it.

I personally think building a FOB on the beach is one of the dumbest things to do when you're still heavily attacking. It provides a great spawnpoint, but players tend to stick there, fire blind and not move to the seawall. Sitting ducks, easy targets for all the mortars, draining tickets like crazy.

Good Evening,
On the Merville map where the center is not DOD and the DOD is actually at the north center, there is no repair pad. We had to keep destroying the logi to get a new one. GRRR

Yes, I've experienced something similar in the wheat field in front of West Flag in Merville map. When prone, it was possible to see everything below, like the wheat field was floating 50cm above the ground.
I was running on low graphics.
Other than that, I've just experienced rough space-boxes on Omaha trenches (while trying to go prone nearby), and some server crashes.
Let me end this, my very first comment, with a enthusiastic CONGRATULATIONS to the Devs. I've had a ton of fun, and I really appreciate all the effort towards achieving that realistic feeling. I wouldn't recommend this for the light-hearted.

I know, but with my short term memory and the time a round takes I would not remember it by the end. In fact I didn't and was only reminded because I did not close the app on my phone
