Password a public server and the population halves. When a server population halves people get bored and begin to leave, which further accelerates the die off. After a month has past the smacktards are in fact gone... and so is almost everyone else.

Let no one dare to put forth 'our server is so popular this will not happen' because reality keeps refuting this quaint and courageous notion time and again.

My suggestion was´nt meant for all the pub servers. But if a few where password protected then teamplayers would have a place to play without having smacktards runnin around. It might be a good place for "noobs" to get a good introduction to the mod.

I was thinking more of 1 day of the week, 15 min spawntime. Cry babies - cry!

This is the very same squad I had previously this very day had a couple of great rounds with, one on Helmand and the other in Inishail Forest (sp?). We were in fact the best squad on our team, at least until the SL went nuts and wanted my APC instead of to give orders.

The fucker's name was SargeFire as well. I would have even given him the kit if he didn't approach me from the side in wanting control of the APC, not that he'd have felt compelled to if he had given clear orders in the first place.

Dude you should go onto the TG forums, they take stuff like that seriously. Also have TS running during games there's usually an admin on it who ll investigate. Something like that would be a ban.

i was playing TB today and first of all after spawning at the PLA main base someone waiting for the chopper stairs at me for a couple of seconds thens open fire and runs of to the city, no apology, nothing.
i follow him asking him for his bandages as that is what i do if a accidentaly shoot someone, he just ignores me, i shoot the ground to get his attention at he trys to shoot me but i jump out the way - im 3 metres away with a shotgun, if i was trying to kill you, i would have done.
then the next round hes on my squad and is the medic, after a fire fight i call for medic and he comes and crouches up and dwon over my body.

we also had a couple of guys camping our main USMC base with support and sniper, when told by people on there own team as well as ours they said "were not IN the base were outside - its a tactic".
maybe if you were stopping backup form reaching front lines but people were dying as soon as they spawned.

You should report stuff like that to admins of the server.
And if the admins have a soft approach to that sort of behaviour,
I'd be looking for another server.

get this, guy starts his own squad, LOCKS IT and gets into a T-72.

decided to be a gunner and was waiting for a driver.

at this point i took notice and tried to type as quiakly as possible that it aint gonna work, when low and behold 4 people, one after another get into the tank, try to move and the die! x4 people did it... meanwhile im trying to explain why they are dying.

Made a squad named " Fried Jews ".

So naturally I joined, TK'd him and proceeded to berate him until he kicked me from the squad and dissolved the squad.

Then the little pr*ck had the sheer ballz to complain that I used the F word.

Please, if you see him, TK him, or better yet Xfire me via =E= clan and I will TK him until he leaves or I am kicked.

The level of brutality that the Nazis reached is matched only by the Soviets and ChiComs and should be remembered and spat upon.

I'm sure he doesn't have the courage of his convictions to say those sort of things to real people but he feels protected online.

What really bothers me is that nobody seems to care when people make squads like that.

Its like a roller coaster...the level rises but will go down in about 2 or 3 weeks. Give them the time to realise this mod is not for them and they'll go back to vBF2

When playing on pub servers of-course there's going to be guys that don't do what you want all the time. That's the nature of pub servers.
Pub game servers = Relax have fun and play.
If you want control you need a passworded server with an admin that's how easy it is.
I'm quite new to PR but I think the level of players on servers are way higher in PR than say in BF2. There will always be ********, accept it.
What I really don't understand is the attitude to make it hard for players to simply play and have a good time. Long spawn times etc, that just destroys the experience for me.
But if you really want to scare away players, set a 5 minute spawn time, that'll do it.
Myself I leave the server if I die to much (sometimes your squad leader loves to make you spawn in the middle of fights etc) and join another, as there's no point at all to wait say 30 seconds extra.

I am also not known for my tolerance of people who tell me how to feel or what to do.

I will not accept that there are a$$holes and simply live with it.

If all of us "accepted" a$$holes then PR would be just like 'nilla and I'm not going to "accept" that.

The server I was on doesn't tolerate that moronic BS and I would guess that is why the super courageous Spears200456 instantly dissolved his squad.


Perhaps you played contact sport without the requisite headgear or your parents should have sued the obstetrician but whatever the reason just go away.

We really don't need the mentally challenged who find 30s spawns a burden.
And veiled threats about what will happen if you don't get your way are rarely effective.

I personally love people with virtually no experience of the game who proclaim what will and won't work, like spawn times.

The spawn times have gone up and guess what ?

So has the player base.

It seems that there are people who can make the effort to stay alive and use teamwork to enjoy the game.

If that doesn't suit you then leave.

But no, it seems you are yet another self important spoiled pablum puking child who will come to a new community and tell them how they should play and tell the people who made the game what they should do.

But 30s is to long for you to wait ?

Well I know from my past gaming experiences you are going to run into smacktards no matter what the game and that is when you rely on an admin to step in and resolve the situation or invoke the illustrious ban hammer.

There is no way on gods green earth I would lower myself to their level by doing almost exactly what we are supposed to despise them for doing such as intentional team killing. I would rather leave the server and go elsewhere than be brought down to that level if there are no admins around.

Besides , you are disrupting the game play of those not involved since if you are in a 6 man squad and there are two of you running around trying to TK each other,there are effectively only 4 playing in the squad.

If offensive names are being used , arguments break out , TK'ng becomes rampant and admins aren't responding , I'll simply leave as there is nothing I can do about it and there's no sense in arguing , name calling and getting frustrated. Simply try again later.

The bots are looking better and better all the time aren't they.

Oh and about the spawn times? Get s snack , have a nap , read up on some tactics ..whatever. They don't bother me.

If you join a squad named " Fried Jew" then you deserve to have your game disrupted.
I don't live on that higher plane as regards TK's so I won't have to worry about lowering myself.
TK's for kits or revenge or because you don't like what I said in the forums are somewhat different but I am splitting hairs.
The simple fact is that TK'ing is the only effective method of expressing my disgust.
Personally, I find the squad name to be on a different level than soloing in an attack chopper or 'nading a room with friendlies or whatever.
I did leave the server, not in protest, but out of respect for the rest of the people playing the game because I knew that I would not stop harassing a nazi.
