OGG-format indeed.
I thought the Dutch also use english radio commands, is that correct? For more "official" talk, so to say. Of course we'd have to redo those as well, 'cause many of us talk "boerenkool" english, lol.
Commands between airforce and ground troops are in English with Dutch accent of course but commands between troops on the ground are in Dutch.
Except for SpecOps, they use commands like Tango down, compromized, dynamic, go go go, Tango (insurgent or terrorst) , Sierra (civi) etc etc

I'm afraid we're bound to Commander, Squad Leader and Grunt? Or is it possible add another "class" there as well?

Actually, we mix it mostly.
We speak dutch mostly, but use quite some english words in it.
Few Examples;
'' Ik ben aan het reloaden! ''
'' Ik heb visual op 2 taliban in die linker compound. ''
'' Visuals op tango, opening fire. ''
etc etc.
And that's the same for either ground troops, airforce or your special forces.

Indeed Celica,
If you can make a list of commands for me then i can record and edit those.
Words like medic would be hospik i guess.
menu command requesting stuff from the commander could be in English whle the grunt talk would be in Dutch with some English word in it like you described above.

Actually, give me a list with all the commands you need in english, and i
ll put it up in dutch.

Celica`, check the zip-files in your PR directory. There's one in there somewhere that contains all the voice-files (a client-file, common, I think?). For every file in there, we need a Dutch one.
If you can make a list of 'em and put it online somewhere (use a text-file please, 'cause no need to post the whole bunch in a thread

), so Glimmerman can start working on some examples, see how we like it, etc.
And, try to make Commander, Squad Leader and Grunt voice-files. We probably need another guy (or two?) to have different voices (for CMDR, SL and SM)

First ill test it on my el cheapo ms live cam mic, if that sounds crappy ill arrange a professional microphone, but its also the location where you record it thats important!
But i can do a lot of tricks with my sound editing software so we will see.

I've got a kinda good microphone, but I wouldn't even like to hear my own voice ingame.. that would be very annoying :/
What kinda 'mature'-voice do you need anyway?
a rambo-style voice?
Or more like Arnold Zwarzenecker?

Normal Dutch voices of course. I suggest someone with an "older" voice will be commander / squad leader, the younger ones go for grunt. Otherwise it would just sound weird, I recon.

Btw - I am now looking to the sniper suit atm. However I will be only able to work on it this evening as the other computer which I need is ocupied.
I have been talking to my father about the engineer kit. It is kind of hard to make reallife stuff in the game & still have a good balance. So I came up with the following:
Either of these options was the best:
1. Remove mine and give the engineer a scope on his gun
2. Remove mine and give him a second c4 to detonate.
3. Remove mine & replace it with something else.
About the leopard. The Dutch don't use tanks at all in afganistan. However I don't see why we shouldn't texture them already to the dutch version. I am up for it as it is still not a priority.
I have asked my dad to look for some good pictures that we can use for modeling & texturing.
Btw. how about the LSV vechile? Didn't want to have that in either?
