No, you'd have to perform a check several times a second through the server. Meaning several people in several vehicles would cause more stress on the server than everything else combined, pretty much.

One update per few seconds would be enough actually. Anyway this is just what I was afraid of. I was hoping it can be coded on client side, not as a server script. But if it can't, well, there's probably no other way.

It's working as proper as it is in vanilla bf2(AAV's & MG's for example). Btw even half-working stabilizers are pretty cool when applied to attack helli's gunner (tested it yesterday).

Look on the bright side, they now require some skill to use on the move, instead of just point and click.

Well i don't think a chopper can just fly over a target and the gunner hit everything he wants to hit. you still need to hover a bit but not completely still, maybe you can fly over a target but slowly..
and yeah video please

Oh no, no videos. To make a video i would need a gunner that'll fraps it, and I would have to fraps it my self, and then i would have to combine it into a video, and it would take a lot of time, and all that just because you're curious. Instead of wasting a lot of time, I'll better do something usefull, like mouse freelook or heli-gunner realistic hud

.
