If you 're one of the people who do that, STOP. Seriously.

I know a SL would never say that, but I had to add it anyway.

The most common and annoying SL line since 0.8:

Stay frosty. Weapons cold.

Generation Kill got old 2 months ago!

"Okay, who wants to be SL? 'Cause I have no idea what I'm doing."

SL: "Medic, please revive me so we can set a rally point."
Medic: "Copy that, I'm moving [recklessly] to your position!"
SL: "Take your time, the enemy is still nearby."
Enemy Grenade: "Boom!"

SL: "Okay, guys, everybody spawns at the main base." (or even worse, at the aircraft carrier)

"contact" followed by the direction, followed by the range, followed by an attack marker placed on the threat.

"What do you mean you need help here?" "What kind of help, and where are you?"

"Hell, who are you . .say your name first!"



sorry I get the most vague squadies sometimes.

"Move to me guys, so I can set a rally"
-Followed by a 2 minute wait before 2 guys get to me.

"Why do you have a sniper?"
-Followed by a kick from the squad

"Target - Bearing 15"
-Followed by DEATH!

"Silence!!!!"

Usually when becoming the SL because the original SL left or rejoined:
"For **** sake, not again..."

And answering "NO" to the 'we need rally point!!!11' statement.
Sometimes you get the feeling that people can't think by themselves, when you're defending a CP and there's a bunker next to you and some nut wants a RP...

'Head to the move marker for a rally guys'

usually followed by

'NO, the MOVE MARKER'

Were did SL go ? Okay guys im apparently the new SL, Lets walk for ten minutes so i can get officers kit.

I know being medic is not as cool as being sniper. But this is what you play in my squad. No you cant be Marksman either.

Get in the truck guys..Also you medic..Yes you can request snipers kit in main. BUT WE ALREADY HAD THAT DISCUSSION *Kick*

On ramiel as USA: "Stop shooting damnit!" or "Suppress, smoke, and run away!" or "Leave the truck, we'll come back for it later" I'm a big believer of stealth in Insurgency as the coalition, I hate getting into firefights.

On Ramiel as INS: "Molotovs will kill the crew guys." or "Don't wonder away, we're defending, they have to come to us."

On Muttrah USMC: "OK guys, I like to call this the anal rape strategy, cause the MEC doesn't know they're gonna take it in the rear." or any direction as I tell my driver where to turn or "MEC apc spawns in 3 minutes, head to the Fortress"

On Muttrah MEC: "Spawn at bottom of fortress, I need a medic, and engineer, and a HAT." or "Medic, stay with the HAT on top of [that] building"

"Squad leader ? When did I become SL ?"

ME-"OMFG wtf! why are you getting the (chopper, sniper kit, other useless things)!"

Yesterday:
The rally point was in a bad position as the SMs needed to cross 100 m of open land NW of EJOD city before they got the next bit of cover. I placed a move marker where I wanted to place a new rally point. I used all of my 4 smoke grenades to create a smoke screen and then I started telling:
"Come to the move marker." & all kind of variations.


After a couple of minutes there wasn't a single soldier at the move marker so I set an ultimatum of 30 sec. But no, still no soldier. So I made some coffee, got back & I was still alive, while the SMs still spawned at the rally point & engaging the enemy instead of getting to the city... at that moment I give up on my squad, kept my mouth shut and played the rest last minutes of the game on my own. The squad got best score, kills and we had a good K : D ratio, but still, that was one my worst games.

I've done that so many times I believe I have lost a lot of skills on assaulting tactics, assaulting is fun but the WAAAGH style that one sometimes see is tiresome. Bear in mind that the PR community has the highest level of tacticalminded players in any game I've seen so public games can become quite nice. More often then not

This may not be sentences I repeat a lot but why do people jumps on any limited kit as soon as they can whatever the situation, especially snipers and marksman ? You DO NOT need limited kit in every possible occasion... Rifleman, medic, engineer do the job real good most of the time! If I need a limited kit in my squad, I will tell you!

Normally followed by something along these lines....
"Well if you all hang around like you're having a tea party they will shoot at you... pop some smoke and assault that 'fing' flag now!" *grumble grumble inaudible cursing

Maybe I am doing something wrong but it also happen to me sometimes, assaulting alone. Now I tend to use more "Move it, move it soldiers! I think it waken up the troops and add lot of immersion

My favorite line; "Don't bunch up, stay alert guys"

Mine is:
Do you have a mic?
This squad is an _________squad if you dont want in get out!
Hurry up, get on me
Stay low try not to engage anything that has'nt seen us unless there our target/engaging us

My personal favorite:

Oh god Danm it! u took the sniper/Hat/SF kit Good bye *kick from the squad*

"I need someone to go medic." (someone volunteers.) "Great. Please remain a medic, or let me know if you get another kit. We NEED a medic."

"Good work, squad!"

"There he goes. I'll get him." (a few seconds later) "He's down."

"Stick together, squad."

"Destroy!! Kill!!"

"Rally set."

"Call them out if you see them."

"Enemy on the marker."

"Catch your breath before we move on. Stay down."

"Nice shooting!"

"I need volunteers... We're changing tactics" (followed by some crazy scheme that usually works out pretty well)
