Well then maybe you are driving to the wrong place.
Work more as a team and you're never alone.

Dude i always try and work as a team as much as i can, however, a lot of the time on day kashan, i go on, and there is 1 squad full with Inf, and the rest either waiting for the jet and helos or waiting for a tank. That aint fantastic. But believe me im all for night Kashan, but im just saying it may take a wee while.

There seem to be some problems with the night shaders. The glowing tanks still exist btw. Rhino tested with a 0.7 / 0.8 build, with all kinds of things mixed up, which doesn't use the new shaders. So the vehicles still glow.
It also tends to crash on a dedi box. Have yet to find out the exact reason, but might be shaders. The night shaders do't really work well in this release, hehe.

Thats the reason why I haven't redone everything after the editor crash. I thought that it is better to wait till the bug is fixed.

If anyone wants to try it on their own:
http://thirdforces.internationalconspir ... nights.zip
I don't have the 0.7 install anymore. If someone has, please try this out on that, to find out if the glowing tanks exist there or not.

How can we say that if the map tends to crash and therefor has not been tested on a dedi server -and- we don't know if it's even gonna be fun to play Kashan by night?
I can't tell. Honestly, I wouldn't know

no, unless its going to replace the day version of kashan.

Why? one map doesn't take that much space.

Not much? It's about 100 megs as it is now already.

like afterdune said, its 100mbs and thats a huge amount for a map that is a clone of a map in PR with slightly different lighting etc, when you can fit in 3 other average maps in that size...

What if we make that map down-loadable as a extra. So not everyone needs to download it only if you really want to play it. Could that work?
