Just to clarify: the creation of any new community mods DOES NOT slow down the developement process of the existing community mods or the PR core. Quit trying to be everyones boss here as its just pissing people off, keep things civil and to the point or you will get banned. For anyone that is really that concerned over the development of these community mods, why dont you start contributing to the community mod that you find most interesting? Put your money (or in this case your TIME) where your mouth is, instead of wasting peoples time here on the forums bickering.

As for the topic of the Nordic Battle Group and a Norwegian Faction, well that is up to the people who are doing all the work. Whoever wants to do the grunt work is the one who decides ultimately what the faction will be, so please keep that in mind before clicking on that reply button, AM I CONTRIBUTING TO THIS CONVERSATON IN A POSITIVE MANNER?

Thanks for this message fuzzhead please feel to ban the people who starts to flame this faction cause i am getting really tired of these so called discussions we are going to make this faction and that is the end of this discussion.And its up to us to keep the quality pr is asking and which they are going to get. i would have to say that a discussion can not be a discussion if the negative sides aren't highlighted then debunked by the ppl defending whatever is beeing discussed. Therefor not allowing ppl to say what they have to say in a non-offensive manner and instead threatening them is not something you should be doing. I have nothing against you making this mod i simply wanted to state some facts and instead got attacked.

As for you halvor, you don not have the authority to say that they are welcome to ban ppl seriously...

now as for the actual mod you should maybe wait a little bit before making the airplane models since the Norwegian government is right now deciding which plane to buy, its either the super-gripen of the f-32. As far as i can remember.

You are correct.

But what we have seen so far is a lot of "No Norwegianz, pl0x!" and "Norwegians, Swedes and Finns should be made together as one faction because no-one will want to play as the Norwegians and they don't go to war on a grand scale anyway!" Not very constructive, poorly researched and quite annoying to many.

Now calm down or I will have to do some moderating (that sounded SO good!).

On the subject of voices. You should try to find the person who did Norwegian voices for the Silent Heroes mod.

Not very long. I had the PR G3 and used that as a base for it. The ACOG is from PR as well. So I just had to make the buttstock, rails and Aimpoint.

Downloading them now!

EDIT: Some of those are absolutely hilarious! They do lack some intensity, though. They sound like they've been recorded in a studio, not in a firefight.

Believe me, they sound alot better in-game with firefights and explosions around you. Atleast you have these to fall back to if you can't find a proper voice actor.

Ok we need a list of different commandos the Norwegian hands out to their soldiers if anyone here who have been in the military could set up a list of Real commands the Norwegians uses we would really appreciate your contribution!

About the sounds from Silent Heroes; as a former BETA tester in that mod notify those developers and say thanks The sounds are awesome and players had a lot of fun with the taunts. Played that mod for two years lol, wasted lot of norwegians :]

Guy if your gonna make the Norwegian voices, make sure to find a guy from Trøndelag/Finnmark/Troms to do the voice acting Any other dialecs are not acceptable

We are going to use different dialects but first we will need a list of real commands and thereafter we are going to make something special for the community mod but first we need to get handle over the commands like i stated above!

I'm not really sure what you mean by "real commands" here. We didn't have any "codewords" or anything, if that's what you mean. My suggestion is to just translate and mimic what's already in PR, for example.
