And good job Iron. He's actually 20 px high. I had a pain trying to get him a size where you could still see his figure, but he was small enough to hide.

How's this coming along, you find anyone to put animations to it or anything like that?

I have no idea how it is coming. I don't know how to animate, but I'll try almost anything (key word almost!)
Right now I'm kind of waiting for Chuc's feedback. I sent him a PM with the dl link and he's not yet replied by PM or by the thread.
So, yeah, I'm kind of waiting, but I'm staying busy. I wrote up a notepad for a thread of another wip weapon I've thought would be nice (it's a secret for now as to its identity).

Anyway I havn't had an opportunity to test it out in the editor, but I will get it up to scratch animation-wise. Its to the discresion of the rest of the dev team as to whether we'll throw it in with the insurgents' bag of tricks.

one piece of constructive critisicm i have is I think the shell texture could do with more work. The bands on the back dont look right atm and need a bit more tweaking imo.

With adding text and bands etc, some crazy brush used on the delete with a low opacity does a good job of making it look like its old and worn away....

I agree that the rings aren't the best thing in the world; however, all those pictures you posted are pictures of relatively unabused artillery shells. This artillery shell is supposed to be a shell that an Insurgent has had in his little buried cache (as many Insurgents do) for months and just now he's decided to push the dust away and make an IED. I will it into consideration though, the rings are definately at the top of my list of things to fix if the Devs reject it.

What verb often involves cursing or explitives after the act?

Mmmm, no. Not a shotgun or a grenade launcher (I know of no other 'noob tubes')
Also, you will probably curse after dying from this weapon.
Don't think about PR. It is something people do in regular everyday civilian life.

Well murder, I'd most definately have to say a resounding NO! And you might curse after picking your nose, I don't really know consider how I haven't done it in a long time. <-- Yay tissues, great invention that took very little thought.
