No, the Russians made a strange decision with this one, instead of having the clamping mechanism on the optic and the dovetail on the gun, it's the other way around, making it impossible to mount the 1P29 on the SPG9. Though, if the dovetails are similar, we could mount an AK74 on it...

ETA: I'd say sit on it for a while Delta, you have no time frame for completing it. Take some time off, then come back to it.. Worse case scenario, you can send it to me, I'll cover it with feces, then chase you around with it

please whatever you do dont get rid of the files. its understandable if you dont want to work on it anymore but you did put time and effort into it atleast if you keep the files you can continue on it at a later date or give to someone else.

Just posting wondenig if any devs have taken this up? I gave the files and references to falkun, so Im not sure if anything is goin on with this. Im not playing BF2 anymore since it really is just not my cup of tea at all. So if anyone can tell me whats going on with this guy or if this idea has been dropped would be cool

I really hope this thing comes about. I mean c'mon, it's the perfect asset for insurgency.

Why would you give it to Falkun, I heard him trying to pass it to Katarn on mumble but I don't remember what happened. I think we ended up playing L4D.

i don't know the status that you got it to, but if you want it to be done i can take the files and finish it up as soon as i'm done with the aav (like 3 weeks or so)

i don't want to take my mouth too full about the time estimate but i can prolly finish this beauty for you if you hand me the files and all the ref pictures that you got. try and make a rar file with all of it and then post it here on the forums so that anybody can take up the work

Wish I had found this earlier. I'm getting back into PR. I actually own and am in the process of restoring a Romanian AG-9 (license built SPG-9) and live near a museum with a Russian SPG-9.

I'm quite terrified by the fact that civilians in Canada can buy recoilles rifles, if I were your neighbour I'd never argue and try to keep calm at all times
