i was reading a post of a dev where he writing (not promised but writing) about readjusting the ticketgain for coalition forces for destroying caches.
is this still considerable or had it been canceled in exchange for the pro insurgent change conditions for gathering intel?

and is it in discussion to remove some of the cache locations in the outskirts where the chaches are wether in the very open or hardly any insurgent can get there? just asking.

nevertheless, regarding the overall progress on the insurgencymod looks extremly good andeven more detailed in my opinion.

What I meant was you still have the option to engage infantry and area targets at range. There's no real need for the grenade launcher when you have RPG's and mortars.

I've never seen a Russian AK with a folding stock. I have seen Chinese AKs with folding stocks. There was a comment about other equipment in the picture being Chinese. I figured weapon smugglers would get whatever they can take, and I also figured Chinese guns would chill around with chinese RPGs, and weapon smugglers would take everything they can.

Sure, I can be wrong. I often am. I figured the probability of the folding-stock AKs being Chinese in this case was higher than them not being Chinese.

I don't have information on weapon-smuggling routes or behavior. If any of you do, feel free to correct me in any of my posts regarding such topics.

But it's a front line rifle of a conventional faction. And going by that logic, every faction rifle should be available. If it were like a pick up kit kind of like the Einfield is now, that'd be better because G3s would probably be less available than something like the AK-47.

I know what you mean, but the G3 wouldn't be "just an MEC rifle that some how found it's way into the hands of an insurgent" they were ex Iraq/Iran stock piles or smuggled from any number of the middle eastern nations that use them. Yet you don't see to many M16A4 stock piles do you?

if you look though the topic, you will notice that EOD didn't in fact finish it, all he did was get the basic coding done on it, then he said he put it on hold.

I'm tempted to say that the "claymore" is this, but at the very end of the thread EOD says that the project is disbanded.

He also said "for the time being."

the insurgents should be able to get a battle-worn m16 or m4

L85A2s are also some, very few times found in insurgent ammo caches, it dont mean they should get them spawning in...

If you want a M16 or M4 or a L85, you kill a enemy and pick it up, which is the most realistic way.

Looking at enemies just popping out of the ground like dwarfs isn's very nice but how about being able to spawn on the cache after its marked on the map but before it is revealed to the enemy?

That's an interesting idea Claymore. Will think about it.

Yeah,i've also had this idea, like a taped on redot sight for the ak 47,or a really worn down dirty m16.
