exactly, its not going to happen unless:
1. you have the same dream
2. you have some other motivation involved to do it such as money
3. its a quick and easy job which dont take much to do, which this is not.
We are talking about investing 100s if not 1000s of man hrs into this project to get it done, something that dose not happen easily.

Guys, put this map and everything about it on ice please!
We should rather put our energy in ongoing, realistic projects of whom a mapper is the guy with the idea.

I saw something I had on my comp about a google earth image so maybe I will make a 1km map or sumething of a-stan we will see right now I am alittle busy up with school and trainig.

Sorry dude there has been a night maps in PR
BiMing was a night map, but someone didnt like it. I liked it since it was a sneaky map.

An opinion from someone who's stationed at GSV right now: Russia invading is not a danger at present. Quite to the contrary, the Norwegian Border Guards have a very close relationship with their Russian colleagues.

Of course it isn't. Norway and Russia has almost never had a better relationship.
But neither is the West fighting China etc.
The thought is a remnant of the Cold War, and would play out fun in this non-storyline game we're playing.
And remember, noone knows what the future brings anyway.

I like the idea but wouldn't the Russians have greater forces. Maybe no delay spawn and get rid of the Norwegian Tanks

Yep. The manpower of the Russian forces stationed at/near the border is apparently greater than that of the entire Norwegian military.

The PBn aka armor batalion is stationed in that region of norway.

I find that very hard to believe. Not quite sure what you define as "near the border", but a fully mobilized Norwegian army is listed as 100,000 to 300,000 troops.

I can hardly imagine the Russians suddenly "spawn" inside Norway without anyone noticing it. It will probably be a diplomatic thing with Russians and/or Norwegians slowly (or suddenly) move forces near the border to show supremacy.

It's just what I heard after talking to the people here. Mind you, I'm talking active at any one time, not fully mobilized. In which case the Russian forces will still be umpteen times larger than ours.
