Canada and Peacekeeping - Veterans Affairs CanadaCanada is one of a handful of nations to which the United Nations can regularly turn to obtain peacekeeping advice and expert peacekeepers. Canada has participated in the overwhelming majority of peacekeeping operations mandated by the United Nations Security Council. Tens of thousands of Canadians have served in more than 40 separate peacekeeping missions. But Canada's contribution to peacekeeping is not without risk: more 100 Canadians have died in peacekeeping operations and hundreds more have been wounded.

Canada may not give the most men but has suffered the 2nd highest amount of deaths.
Blasphemy! If you weren't so stuffed with nationalism you would know that both Norway and Sweden supported Finland in terms of supplies and men in 1939 along with many other countries. And we fighting for Sweden and Norway's freedom that's odd right... since Norway was occupied by the germans in WW2 hmm... and the "freedom fighters" weren't in sight... oh right! we were on Germany's side!'[FIN wrote: Mauno_Koivisto;936608']Again Finnish defence forces.
I´m sorry to say, but why in earth they would put up Norwegian forces or Swedish forces?
Both of these have done nothing else, but watching the news, how Finland fight for their freedom as well (WW II). Both of my grandfather´s died in WW II, one against russia, one against germans in lappland.
