Fixed that for you. ;)

I've played PR with people who were undoubtedly in the 13-14yr range and who were just fine, on the other hand I've played with adults who were complete morons.

13 year olds that don't read the manual and scream about how helicopters flip and they can't shoot at anything but friendlies drive me up the wall.

Some are fine and others are not. But that goes for all ages.

Somebody joins my squad, i hear his voice, hes 12, kicking him out, or telling him that you should not be playing this game. Believe me or not there was one 8 year old once who was an admin in some server :D

Linking age directly to maturity is just stupid and really really annoying when you happen to be an acceptably mature 12-17 year old.

Doing just makes you look ignorant, arrogant and elitist.

I don't mind it as long as they don't start shouting, insulting and messing around. Plus i think they should find software which alters the sound of there voice so they have a lower pitch voice, kind of like what you can do on the ps3 where you can alter you voice

Haha I agree with that 100% ^^. They really do need a voice changer (as long as they don't make it too low, or worse, higher).

But a 12 year old can be OK sometimes, but I find mostly they don't have the patience nor the common knowledge that older people tend to have. Although saying that there are many people with little common sense older than 12 Lol.

Not meaning to sound like a ****, but aren't computer games targeting 12-17 age group?

I'm sixteen, I'm mature enough to drive, so I'm mature enough to play a video game. make sense?

Not bashing you older guys though, I don't plan on stopping playing games when I get older.

It does annoy the hell outta me though when you get that kid in your squad with a high pitch voice and he won't stop talking.

What about adults acting like 12 year olds?

I see more of that than the opposite ingame.

Age doesn't always = maturity.

Tactical Gamer was an Excellent Server. Yeah that's right, I said that, go a head and BAN ME from your server now!

No problem with it, if their parents either allow or don't even know their youngsters are playing games that are Age Restricted then that's good enough for me, most guys I see TKing sulkily because they think they're the only Helo pilots on the planet are not 12 but of all ages.

PR like all BF 2 MODs are very tame on the deaths, etc unlike other very graphic games with massive blood spurts, amputations, etc.

As many have said, if you personally don't like hearing someone chatting all the time kick the guy from the squad if he won't button it. Goes for any age group. :-D

I personally am a kid, so here is my view on the matter: I think that age=maturity is not a very good rule, and wish that older gamers would not judge based on age. Whenever i can i try and act mature, however contradictory it might be to common prejudices about kids. And also, just because kids are young, doesn't mean that they don't know common military knowledge. My uncle is in the military, so i have had the privilege of knowing a lot about military subjects.

hmmm age does not equel maturity more expereance and knowing of other people etc etc. so i see it as age is just a small part of the maturing process
