the problem is because Jewish is a confusing name, its refers to both a race of people and a religion and some people also use it when refering to the Israelis, which is kinda silly.

So if you called me a Jew, it could be like

Calling some a christian, which is not necessarily how they would like to be defined
Calling someone a Saxon or Roman, which is complicated with the Jewish people due to how our ancestors moved around much of the western world after teh sacking of Judea - resulting in a very diverse culture due to assimilation in to new home countries.
And its not really a nationality, so don't call them that.

It is NOT like calling someone Latvian.

for example, My mother is Jewish, but she is British and agnostic.

And for the record, there are multiple ways to define Jewishness. In some views, someone who belongs to the Jewish race through matrilinear descent but who is an atheist is more Jewish than someone who actually believes, but who is not of Jewish descent.

On topic: To my knowledge the rear door of the Mi-8 doesn't appear to be powered, it would be physically impossible to open during flight or incredibly dangerous to do so. The rear doors are either completely removed for some operations or there are multiple specials doors with an attentional split door out there creating another rear door (but then they are paratrooper version in very small numbers).

So the question is: there is no way to prevent someone from opening it like the Merlin or would be unrealistic with altitude controls like the Chinook so would it be better sealed shut?
