I wish I could change my vote. The next version is reported to not require the silly headware and have increased support for "legacy games"

Might buy if I see those features.

I have Free track and everytihng it needs but I need help on how to set it up with PR, can anyone help me?
And is it possible to turn around the character in PR with your head (freetrack)?
Or if it is totally impossible for PR, then how about Arma2? I dont know how to set it up.

An interesting find: Face tracking software that doesn't need a headset, and it's free.

No word if there's BF2 comparability, but I'm having a go later this month when I get home.

Works for me in FSX when my face is lightened up correctly.
Also you need to keep your head extremly calm in order to push buttons, and it crashes from time to time...

Just still in beta.

Why would you drop $150 on Track IR when you guys download Free Track for free, quickly, cheaply and easily mod your video camera that you probably already have and add 3 LEDs to a hat or pair of headphones....

Flying without is worse than playing PR without a mic :40_swig:

I would love to have one, but I don't want to spend the money. Maybe make one once PR:ARMA comes out and I can collect the funds for the materials...

There should be an option: I own neither and I will probably never do even though I would like to.

I use freetrack with my Playstation Eye. It works great with ArmA 2. So much more fun!

If you live in Australia:

Track IR 4 Pro (As new, boxed) | eBay

I bought two hoping to get a friend into Red River with me. I was gonna give it to him as a gift.

But he's too busy playing Xbox360.

$130 is starting bid. Add $15 for postage to anywhere in Australia and you've got one for $145.

Try to order 1 from the states and you'll pay $170+ shipping included.

If no one buys it off eBay then worst case scenario is I end up with two. And considering I'm planning on building a full driving sim with a Logitech G25 and a flight sim with a Logitech G940 I'm pretty sure having two will save me a lot of fiddling around when it comes to going from driving to flying.

Trying to build myself a Freetrack 3-LED Cap atm, so if PR:BF2 would support Headtracking, i would have found my first game i would like to play with the Headtrack :)

Is there any system up that move the head and the body, either together or separately?

You mean for the TrackIR? It would be kinda awkward to move your body with the TrackIR I think.

Mouse for the body as in every FPS, and TrackIR for turning the head is optimal imo. Which is how it is set up for all the games I've tried.
