M82 is going to own.

Maybe that 50. cal sniper could be an alternative sniper weapon for US (and perhaps other users, like MEC or something).

Come one, appease the sniper fans. I don't care that much, because the sniper basically already kills with one shot so the current weapons are already powerful enough. The fifty caliber rifle's benefits are therefore negligible (in fact, negative i'd imagine, since you probably can't carry as much of those fifty caliber rockets as you can carry Lapua rounds ( orwhatever ammo the current sniper weapons use). And the fifty cal must be louder too, i'd imagine.

If i shoot at the enemy's head with the M82, which is a .50 caliber rifle, the medics
will be able to revive him?

The M82 will be able to penetrate walls and hit the enemy?

Look its really quite simple guys, .50cals are already ingame, just in the form of a HMG instead of a sniper rifle so any questions you have refer to the .50cals HMGs ingame right now.

1. Dose a .50cal HMG make players unreviable if hit, even in the head?
Answer: No...

2. Can .50cal HMGs shoot though some types of materials?
Answer: Yes...


Just because the weapon firing the same calibre round has a huge scope on the top and only fires one round at a time dosen't mean the round will behave any differently than if it was fired from a HMG other than possibly its accuracy.

Actually, I do believe a .50 to the head kills the player instantly rather than sending them into the critically wounded stage.

possibly but like I said, w/e the setting it is now will be ingame since they will use the same projectile code, just like the Paveway II bomb on a Tornado GR4 acts excatly the same as a Paveway II bomb on a F-16.

It will be the same effect as when you shot them with the M2 browning machine gun or an other 50. cal weapon thats ingame now. So the only difference is a way lower rate of fire than for example the M2 browning..
