CTD randomly, today I got a windows popup:
"BF2 Memory Error
memory.dll: all alloc attempts failed for size 1053700"
Sorry, no screenshot but that's what it said word for word.

Don't know if it is the right place to post as I did not experience a CTD but a Bluescreen. I played with a mate in teamspeak and we both had the BSOD at the same time.
He uses an ATi Graphics Card and AMD CPU and I have nVidia and Intel, so I dont think it is hardware related. That was like 10 days ago and I only know that it was a desert like map and I just exited a truck and he was running around somewhere.
Since then I'm a bit afraid of playing this great mod :/

So, as stated i only have this problem when maps are switched after map end.
I see the overview of the scores (last +/- a minute) and exactly when to new map must come => crash with bsod

Try setting your video settings to default and start a match. Then raise the settings back to where they were.
Also your RAM should be running at 800MHz not 400.

"start a match"
DDR2-800 wiki for you 400Mhz is frquency 800MT/s is data rate

It's funny because my CPU-Z shows 800MHz clock.
Might be because my ram is dual channel. You know 2x2 is faster than one 4gb stick.
