i supppose, but there hardly realistic, i mean a preadator should own a tank no problem

Hey, I'm new but I wanted to help out in suggestions.

Like someone said earlier, make it so you cant shoot while moving. Often I get pwnt like crazy becuase my technique, I try to aim. I think everyone needs to learn marksmenship in this method. Making for a more skill involved game, not run and gun and no tactics.

Like some said earlier again, make it when your hit you lose health until you get a medic. If you get hit in the head heart or other important spots you nearly die instantly if you dont get a medic right way. Legs, arms ect. need medical attents soon but not imedetiely. Since you may make a kit limiting thing, make it so there are always a certain amount of medics in a full server to make sure some medic is gonna help out one way or another.

More cover? Im not sure, i may just not be using it well. But I want more oportunities for cover.

TOWs need more protection for the gunner. At least make it not as suicidal to use it on a tank. How much protection does a TOW have in real life?

Keep normal respawn.

Snipers need a gilley suit that will fit in with the map, unlike in normal every day bf2. MAybe also make some good places in buildings for window sniping. Like a room with half opened blinds and a couch against the wall under the window. Maybe two exits for if your spotted and need to evacuate the building.

Good luck on fully comepleting and polishing this mod!

heavy AT --> predator (only one shot, suficent to kill a heavy tank )
light AT ----> err , sraw? smaw? whit 2-3 shots

what about an antimaterial sniper rifle? at least car windows and wooden/sheet fences should be penetrable IMHO.

Hey, im new to these forums, and new to PR, only started playin it a couple of days ago and i'm lovin every minute of it, you's guys musta putta lot of hard work into it, and see you are workin very hard on the v0.4. Theres only one thing i can think of that i would like to see in it - The British Army. Which i know has been talked about on many parts of this forum. And i agree with the new class layout with new weapon arrangements etc.. This would increase the realism!

I would love to see a landing craft and/or Assult Boat included in the vehicle list, as these are used by the BA instead of the Rib (usually). The assult boat would be great in maps were a silent attack is essential e.g. a jungle river, whereas the landing craft would be more for carrying troops, it would be the equivalent to a transport helicopter although it carry up to 20 personnel.

I know that alot of the members on this forum are member of the regular Army and therefore you will know more about these than i would know. Although i am a member of the Cadets, we do not learn about these.

I'd want the LCAC. The hovercraft that can hold vehicles and passengers. Maybe make it so a tank can be driven from the carrier onto the LCAC?? That'd be cool!

Get in the LCAC and pull into the boat bay. Make your front touch the edge and the tank pulls on in.

Or make the tank attached to the LCAC and when you land it can be activated and driven off, that may stop some glitches.

I just find the fact that a tank is on a carrier is cool!

just wondering about it may be possible to make unassigned ppl get swapped before ppl in squads are. would that be within your possibilities? it happend to me three times yesterday and its annoying if you try to play with your friends.

I posted this here even its not really a reality issue, but prmm is about teamwork and squadplaying. I dont see any disadvantage if this would be changed.

it would need a big revamp of the carrier

Doesnt really need a revamp. You know that large room that is behind the water and boats? Its plenty of room for a tank to sit there.

You can hover a chopper or a harrier into there, landed it, and still have left over room. Theres room for a tank.

yeah i dont know about transporting a tank across but how about just a large beach landing vehicle...

men and a jeep or something...able to take a few bullets would be nice too...I love jeeps but they act like they are made out of paper....

then again doesnt take much to realistically take out a jeep..so kit limiting!!!!

With no military expirence, and at least 15 years since I last pulled a trigger, I seem to remember that in the beginning the recoil was quite the *censor*. After a while I learned how to fire so that the gun wouldn't recoil that much.

Not saying take it out, but would it be possible that people with more playtime could get their recoil reduced? Or gradually reduced?

If it's even possible in the BF2 engine.

Probably silly idea, since it might reduce gameplay. But it might be a little more realistic. Or not?

Hi all, great mod, love it, as BF2 should be!

However there is one element that has come across from BF2 that spoils the reality & game play and that is name tags, i have read much that has been said about tags and the way they are presently, is good, as far as, who has and doesn't have them, i.e friend & foe.

However i HATE the fact that they can be seen through buildings, walls etc.
Its unrealistic and can be very annoying.

You have the mini map to find squads mates, medics etc.

How many times have i thought an well hidden enemy solider was friendly cos a team mate was on the other side of the wall and his tag is hanging over the prone support guy that is just about to waste me.

It may not be possible but only seeing name tags that are in line-of-sight must be a possible way forward.

What do you reckon?

ps.. grunts leaving blood trails when they are bleedin.. helping both medics and hopeful killers!

Oh and whats with the annoying timed charges for the spec ops, My friends and i who we believe where some of the first to effectively employ suicide bomber trucks on bf2 are finding it a wee bit difficult to use this tactic on PRRM. :(

Ok, Lame, I'm assuming you know this mod is focusing on providing a realistic while fun gameplay situation for all.

We do not use suicide bombing as a tactic on a reality mod (strange is it not?) And the British will be released in v1 of PR. We are currently anticipating the release of v.4. Also, if you have been around the modding community for any game long enough you know what question should not be asked, yes the holy grail of questions: "When's it released?"
