Message to User:
"This server sucks! The admins are horrible, I got banned for a totes for no reason!"

The above is an example of whining and complaining. Before you post, make sure you understand that this is for server admins to adapt to players' experiences. The above is not a good representation of feed back and will always get you warning or infractions from the Moderation Team that may get your account banned. Also, please remember that our policy concerning bans is that it isn't any of our business. If you have been banned, please seek an appeal on the server admins website. Any unban requests will result in the thread being closed and you receiving infraction points.
Please remind yourself of the rules for posting in the server feedback section.

Constructive feedback helps all players make an informed decision on whether they want to play on the server, and gives admins the opportunity to fix something that's broken.

This is a warning only as it's been a while since your last one.

Noddy

HOG doesn't seem to have any admins for the Pacific peak hours (West Coast of America, East Asia, Australia & NZ). HOG is often populated at 100/100 during Eastern Coast peak hours, but what tends to happen for some reason is that it becomes the only populated (>50 player) server once Pacific peak hours roll around. But that's also the same time the last HOG admin logs off for the day.

Maybe you guys could turn off the server after the last admin of the day logs off, and turn it back on when the next admin logs on?

Well it's not like it's anybody's fault when there are no admins around. But is there a way for an admin to set the server to shutdown when the round ends, if they know they'll be the last admin of the day?

It sucks when 88 people in the whole english-speaking world are playing PR, but none want to risk leaving an adminless server to seed an empty one.

The only way i know of, would be to give all the admins access to the server shutting it down manually, and i do have to say that isn't a very good idea.

However keep in mind that we do check the server logs, when i say "we" i mean Super_6_5, so any trolls will still get banned. Use the report function even tho no admins are on and they will still get banned.

And yes i can understand that very much, that's one of the reason i became a HOG admin in the first place, unfortunately, i had more free time back in High School then i do now.

If no admins are online feel free to contact me on steam I'm on there all the time and i will see the message.

Steam: Haakon:_w

And we do appreciate the kind of feedback you just gave Thank you! :-)

If you are last admin and no other admin is joining, set next to Ghost Train, which will disconnect all clients. No need for stopserver access :)

I can't create an account on your forums, so ill post this here. Snap and myself were having a blast on your server tonight, it was fun not having to admin. A special thanks to Jolly and Gus for being awesome dudes tonight, and to pierre for being an awesome dude to. But after the last admin got off, this happened.

*warning, I was listening to music with my pilot at the time.*

I don't hold it against yall. But as L&P frequents your server often, Id like to apply for admin there to help out with this kind of stuff.

Yea i tried to get into the server for 20min being on auto-deploy before trying to connect manually, with no luck...I thing maybe we need two reserved slots for the admins.

@FFG
Thank you for the youtube link and for the feedback, always good to hear that you people are having a good time on HOG.
Feel free to join the HOG TS and talk to Super_6_5 whenever he is on, and I'm sure he will be able to help you out with that :)

@Nate, i did not know that, but maybe Ill try it next time lol

Do you have an auto kick on so many tk? I tked something like 3 people just now, but in my defense I asked anyone if they wanted the engineer kit rather than let me keep it, then placed a mine at the bottom on a ladder WITH a mine marker and someone went down and I got the tks.

Played a few rounds tonight. Seemed good. But no one was communicating it seemed like. (Squad Wise). Plus, whats with the loading times/Debrief times? It seemed like it took 5 minutes to switch to the next map.

Overall, decent experience. Just wish more communication was enforced, and less inexperienced pilots.

plagues all servers, it's just particularly bad on the american servers. They tend congregate people from all over the world. But it does shit me when SL's that i know players speak English never communicate.

Not sure if you could enforce a rule on this though, some servers have a rule that SL's must have mics. But it's the communication between SL's that's the issue.

You can help by specifically addressing players by their IGNs, that usually gets a response.

I was just playing on HOG. I had a terrible time. The admins (nass is the only one I remember) would NOT respond to reports. We had a guy named "Forensic" (note the s, not "forenzic) team kill the BMP-2M. Nass temp banned the wrong person for it, despite multiple reports. Forensic then left and came back under "Porkins". He teamkilled the Havoc right after it spawned.

Then, to top it all of, the Apache (piloted by Yellowdeath) was camping MEC main. We were killed right as we left.

The round before I had a great time. However, I was very disappointed with the reactions of your admins. Please take the time to train them to respond to situations faster.

the amount of trolls and griefers is increasing by the day with this game and sometimes its a bit much for one admin to handle especially if he is playing as well. plus, no one can really ban them anymore so the ones that we ban simply come back under new hash.

I came here to report the exact same thing as Reaper, I had a horrible time on Burning Sands as did the rest of the MEC team. I am not blaming this on you guys, as there were a lot of trolls, but perhaps more than only one admin is required on a 100/100 server.

There were 4 admins on, though I do not remember their names. I believe one of them was Druid or something. He was very helpful. By the way Super, the guy who did it has many CD Keys but they're all under the same IP so an IP ban will be very effective in this case.

Well, I got banned for flying my smoking black, dead tail engine huey into the AA that shot me instead of dying by myself in the woods and for chasing a hind with a huey (which is not against their rules) and flying upside down, without crashing. They banned me PERMANENTLY for flying pixels upside down.

Problem is, instead of dealing with my ban appeal like adults and letting me explain my case (and I was being polite all the way through), they just banned my IP so I can't even see what happened to my ban appeal.

Banning people PERMANENTLY for this behavior is uncalled for, and the game is DYING ffs, only 1-2 servers alive, and yet they ban people for this kind of stuff.

I know I am not supposed to post ban appeal stuff in here, but I am banned over there (their website).

Flying upside down is a glitch.

From the server rules in this thread
Don’t fly HUEYs upside down.
bl

My advice .. don't post again when angry. PM Super if you want to discuss this further.

What happened is i've been banned for a "false" report. I spawned on the main base on Sbeneh Outskirts, saw a guy who's got in a BTR and went away alone. I reported him, but by the time admin responded this dude got his gunner. And I've got banned without warnings or anything. I actually don't remember when it's happened, but I don't really care, because It's kinda lame way to treat shrinking playerbase I think, and I don't think I am going to go back to HOG.
