However i HATE the fact that they can be seen through buildings, walls etc.
Its unrealistic and can be very annoying.

IMO - tags should be removed completely from the game,
leaving only medic/support/engie/co and even sl marks.
Also flashlights would be useful... if engine supported them.

It works well in iraq though....
It may be the holy grail of questions but i am a member of [Lame] We are shall we say, exclusvie in our activites and tactics...
But ah well. I still love the mod. Keeps us ticking over nicely till OFP2.... which may be quite some time.

What I want to see is gun emplacements that actually face in a usefull direction, instead of pointing in a direction that no one ever goes past.

the thing about the tags is what if the enermy steals your hummer, or is riding in a RIB how will you be able to tell without checking the radar every 2 secs or tapping the spotted command to see if its hostile.

I am aware that there are several games in development claiming to be ofp2 whilst only one actually has this title and is infact the one that looks the most naff.
I was refering to armed assault. [Lame] were unbeatable on OFP and we shall again be victorious on armed assault or whichever sequel actually manages to be ofp 2.
All ofp needed was an update in graphics and a few more features.

Well armed assualt is made by the same team that made the orignal OPF, so if any one can do it, they probly can.

That world in conflict looks real awsome, too. I wonder if that is in-game footage, or just 3D animation.

Yeah, I checked out the movie. It looked like they took real people actors and plastered animations over it. Looks real good, but I'm not sure if it's actual game footage, or what.

would like a slightly more realistic spawn time, i would say makeit quicker, but if you are reinforcements then you would be waiting much longer !!, what about, if the game alows it, the sl could order a certain number of reinforcements at the start or whenever then when you die you respawn very quickly, once all of the reinforcements are gone then you have to wait ages, or re-order some more reinfocements before all are gone in the first place.

There are some that complain over the unrealistic medic with shockpaddels and medipacks.
One could try doing the following change:
Medics can only heal 25% of the soldiers health. Once healed by one medic, another medic can not come along and give the soldier extra 25%.
No shockpaddling to revive.
If an soldier is hurt more than 60-70%, medics can only stop him/her from bleeding too death and not heal.
Soldier that wants to get full health would have to travel back to their base and wait a set amount of time. It would act as a army hospital.
Just some suggestions.
Then again, it would only ruin gameplay. Since people can spawn at SL, they will just go gung-ho and get themselves killed instead of traveling back to the nearest flag to be healed. And some would never play medic again, since they wouldn't get credit for saving the day.
So perhaps the medic isn't so bad after all, the way it is today?

i think i idea is good, but to be more realistic while good gameplay would be:
Medics heal 50% a bag and stop bleeding.
and i think that idea of going back to an 'army hospital' is a good idea but it just wouldnt work (its basically going back to bf1942 almost)

Fix the DAMN GLITCH with sniper scopes. Tired of losing kills coz my view turns off sniper scope all by itself. Very annoying!!!!
Headlights on vehicles would be nice on nightmaps, especially if they blinded nightvision users.
I'm sure there was more but i forget right now....
