The question is :
What
don't you want to see in a Realism Mod!
I don't what to see on my screen grads of all my squad, with lighty greeny spots.
Look, they are my screens today. I dislike HUDs so i do disepear it:

But greeny informations stay on my screen, and I can't see what's realy happend in front of me
My question is:
Is it possible to "HIDE GRADES" and make names in darkness like that?:

I hope you think like me, and that be easy to do.
I will not stop to play PR for this.

what would be kool is that the 'orders' and shouts from the commo rose dont show up on the HUD, u instead only hear them next to you or hear them over the radio
The long lost days of Mobile arty

Hi, new guy here. I really liked the old BF1942 cooperation between scout-snipers and mobile arty. In PR I know the commander mode can be played in a similar fashion, but it was fun and challenging (ballistics-wise) coordinating with a scout and landing metal on target. Probably a redundancy in the PR game, but I thought I'd mention it.
Cheers!

Im new to the forums so what im going to say may already have been touched upon in this or another thread. Anyways, is it viable to put in extra voip options e.g.
Inter vehicle coms - when in a chopper with whole squad but the pilot is not a member of said squad....which is gonna happen alot when given the option to have a pilot class and said pilot class will be pretty much doing taxi runs.
Inter squad coms - so that squad leaders can communicate with other squad leaders. This option may also help with inter-vehicle coms e.g. if there was a pilot squad, an infantry squad could communicate with them without going through a mute commander.

I would just like to clarify that "The War on Terror" *sic* does not really apply to the occupation of Iraq. Why? Saddam Husseins Iraq had little to nothing to do with supporting Al Qaeda. Saddam Hussein is a communist/stalinist and Al Qaeda is a religous terrorist organization. Saddam feared/hated religous groups as most non-religous dictators do.
And yes, I did say "occupation". It's there for all to see. At least half a million iraqis have lost their lives for not having any WMD's and not supporting Al Qaeda.
To keep on topic, I'd really like to see slower backwards/sideways movement.

Sorry for that last post. It was a bit offensive. I'll try to keep politics out of this in the future. I just get frustrated and sad sometimes.

I get your point.
That was both funny and disturbing.

i agree with the idea of having a completely stripped down HUD, it would vastly increase playability without a minimap and all non essential messaged removed, and the idea of only hearing the radio and so on should be good too

i wanna c a chinook or a puma for the UK transport (it would also good if u could manually airdrop vehicles and troops)
i think a c-130 or a chinook would be a good moblie spawnpoint, think:
roundstart
spawnpoint just out of screen (that would be either the chinook or c-130, though it would be more like a c-130)
when it gets up to a certain capactiy the treansport goes on a run across the map, u choose when u want to bail out on the map
this would be an interesting deployment method

I would really enjoy if bullets could ricochet randomly of the ground, and it would be sweet when you see the tracers bounce off the ground.
Here's a
video.

tht would only work if it was in the dark, and there arent many night maps
but other than that it is already in place

Huh? That doesn't make sense.
Oh and why would it only work in the dark?

if your talking about the tracers coming off the ground then that would only show up in the dark, that video is taken in the dark
u would never c that in board daylight
and if your talking about the tracers when the bullets are leaving the gun then that is already in-game

I'd say most things have been said a hundred times before but here we are
Personally it seems to me to be totally unrealistic to see so many humvees and vodniks on the frontline - they're not combat vehicles, they're reconaissance and support trucks - and it bothers me ever so slightly that it seems normal to people here

APCs (without ATGMs) should be everywhere and the fast mode of transport of choice - LAV25s for the USMC, BTR90s for MEC, BTR70s for the insurgents etc. with IFVs like the Bradley, BMP3 etc doing the job that APCs are doing now. Just a thought...
Another thought would be to remove the overall one commander position and give all squadleaders access to the commander suite. That way Squadleaders can
- set waypoints and instructions on a map
- view their squad info immediately
- communicate with other squadleaders for coordination with the 'b' key and sending requests on the mapscreen
- if a single individual wishes to command they just have to lock a squad and use the commander suite as normal

Being a Brit squaddie i would love to see the inclusion of the GPMG to rival that of the PKM. Yes we do have the M249SAW (L110 LMG for us Brits) but its only a girly 5.56mm calibre. Bring in the GPMG and let us get some real hardcore firepower down on the enemy positions and give us UK based forces something to smile about!! Ah, the sound of that "Gimpy" brings a smile to my face every time! Nice!

Bring this vehicle to the fight!!!! It would be great for the Al Basrah and Fallujah maps. Being that the actual vehicle is primarily used by us British in Iraq and it would be great to take a position with a full section dismounted out the back to win the firefight! (Providing the chain gun doesn't jam!) And kit it out with the up amour and Bar amour mods for these maps. Awesome. Now thats real.
