This mods have this problem... the servers are to much custom and you need to download new stuff to each server.
AND some one to help you, becose if it is your first time is a little hard to sync the addons.

Agreed! Also, to add onto the file size problem. I have NO mods in my Arma 2 folder but I do have Combined Operations & Reinforcements installed. With all of those addons the file size is about 17GB! If you start adding several 2GB addons it just gets ridiculous not to mention that addons do slow down the game just a little bit and I've recently built a top of the line system.

This is why I didn't play much of ArmA2 after I purchased it. Install this and that, edit here, config this there.. Please.

And then find a server that has the same addons that you have. What? I have to download 4 gigabytes of what?

Problem solved! Thanks to these guys amazing work.

Now aren't you all glad you were patient and calm this past year. ArmA2: PR will come and there will be digital joy again.

I adore this. I hope everyone who will play will read the manual.
Its really cool what i have seen and hope it will be released as soon as possible!

P.S. Looks like ArmaPR will need much more teamplay, that why some people will stay in BFPR, but playing will those who will join will be really great experience!!! I feel pleased, that PR stays ideological the same, thats exactly not for people who want just to shoot :)
Il buy new videocard and Arma CO license specially for this! :-P

Well, Arm2 is big fun if you know where and how to play... You should have given it a go instead of waiting for PR to be released...

I've played City Life 2 RPG for months and months and played some ACE as well and it was cool.

Arma can be good, but most of the time i find it really hard to find any sort of teamwork on public servers (i dont want, and shouldn't need to join a clan/community) hopefully this will solve this!

This new logistic system. Need to drag a create into a truck/chopper load it, unload it to build the FOB and etc. This will require much team work. This PR will NEED a LOGISTIC squad, using the transport choppers, trucks, service trucks and etc...

This is the top change in PR for me

It isnt' really that much different from Pr:Bf2 squad transporting with trucks, helis. You just gotta get out and pickup ammo, supplies instead of waiting for them to magicly rearm.

This is going to be a total success, this mod really needs alot of teamwork which is what people want in Arma2, also, because it's pvp it will totally change the way you play arma normally. Problem with playing against AI is that they infinitely respawn which means you have to enter the area and secure it. As soon as you get close you get raped by their aimbot so you need plenty of people working together which is really hard to come by. With this mod and all it's instructional videos, manual, balance and simplicity of installing all those problems will be solved. Everybody will know what to do and will have the same goal which is really going to bring on some teamwork. If everybody who plays arma2 would be aware of this mod you would surely get some population going on.

I am excited, I know this mod will be awesome. My patient has wore out, but I just try not to think about this mod. :P because when I start to think of it I go crazy just waiting for the release. It will come out soon, PR I say will continue to make kick-*** mods and I am ready to play this kick-*** one! :D

Just bought Arma 2 and Arrowhead just for this, looks utterly amazing.

I have never played Arma before so I am wondering how will the guns differ? Is there a deviation system similar to BF2 :P R? Is there suppression? Bullet penetration?
