(I fucking hate when people use "an" before a constinant, people are such retards.)
Since we have English lessons here, well, here we go:
The rule states that "a" should be used before words that begin with consonants (e.g., b, c ,d) while "an" should be used before words that begin with vowels (e.g., a,e,i). Notice, however, that the usage is determined by the pronunciation and not by the spelling, as many people wrongly assume.

Havnt been able to play with regulars on the usual servers during peak hours, but the off peak times have been great and met a lot of players loving the game and doing great teamwork!
Wish I could say the same, I seem to get all the new guys now rather than the regs. Who happen to be pretty clueless and don't listen.

you say A European taco because european sounds like it starts with a "Y" which is a constinant.
CAN WE CLOSE THIS THREAD NOW??? I know im the only person going off topic, but talking about PR's mortality is really depressing and every thread like it should be banned.

It's spelled consonant, not constinant.

If the server quality(admins/clans) are still active and promote teamwork, and not get steamrolled and have bs admins(Letter after G...:roll , then PR will live for a LONG time.

I remember the good old days when .87 was around and project reality was at its full potential, i literally played pr the moment i waked up to when i went to sleep XD. Project reality was the best mod ever created in my opinion just because of the teamwork it brought along, no other mod or game will ever top that. So my point is RIP PR you will never be forgotten and im sure im not the only one who feels this way.
Well let's say the era after Battlefield 2 release, 2005/2006/2007 PR had everything active all the time , the gameplay were superb, obviously. Along these years the consoles and the call of duty games have been taking place, and also Bad Company and BF3 in the later years. What Iv'e noticed "offcourse" after all these years is that everytime a new huge expected military game comes out PR looses some players and also some fun gameplay on the way while actually PR as a game have become better and better, the dedication of the developers is incredible.
Now, take me as an example! The last time I played PR was maybe 6 months ago, I stopped playing, why? Simply because, as mentioned above, the new military games took all the players away, now, even if some servers were full in PR it was never the same. The fun and the motivation was gone, now the servers only exists of Clan members wich is lame and other players who are there are there so the clan members can have something to shoot at. Sad but true, isn't it! But the main reason really is that it's getting old, really. The game is fun! But it's not really cool walking around in that engine anymore. If you imagen if PR would be realeased to BF3 right now it would be extremely awsome wouldn't it? That's how PR once was, after BF2 release, it was fresh and new. PR will maybe not die but PR BF2! Will definetly slowly die. I give it 2 years, and it's done.
I just want to add and say that it's not necessarily sad or anything, PR is basically a game idea that could stay alive on paper, the game idea has a huge popularity and could work anytime anyday. All it needs is a new place in the new generation. I would say Arma PR is a pretty good move, but not really a strong one. Pr works best to promote iteselfs as a mod when something is new and fresh!

Essentially, as new games get released, some of the PR community leaves. It's also too much of a hassle for new players to join when you have to buy BF2, download 3 big files, etc. So we have a community that is constantly shrinking.
Once PR on the new engine is released, I'm sure the community will grow for another 3-4 years (as long as it's free and easy to install).
That being said, I agree PR:BF2 will soon fade into oblivion.

March 2012, yep I'm still playing PR and YEP, looking at yet another PR is dying? thread.
Let me know when its dead and I will shut down our forums and servers.. .
Think I will be sitting here in another 5 years looking at yet another PR is dying? thread though.
(Yes I'm an optimist but its a better frame of mind to be in than permanently pessimistic like some ..)
Yep... it's one of them days.

(based on pure speculation and the odd Dev comment )
There won't according to previous dev statements.
Next one contains sound mod though.

Although I too am really looking forward to the SoundMod (awesome work Anders!) I always dreamed of some other things for the 1.0
What about working/adjustable ranges for the LAT/HAT kits? You know like with grenade launchers or the SPG for the scoped versions. Or with the 128 player support with a solution to the (imo) very annoying name-tag problem?! I really don't need more assets and stuff for it to be "complete" but ironing out all the gameplay inconsistencies that exist today would really be cool!!!
There is still hope here...
because?! Because there isn't one game out there that reaches PRs' awesomeness!!! and probably there wont be any for quite some time...except PR2 maybe
