Wait, so that 14.5 cannon... would that be like a mini APC round? Would this give justification to put the Grenade Launchers on some Humvees?

At first I was like "Whoa? Every Vodnik having a 14.5mm cannon? Holy unbalance" because I was thinking it would be like the LAV's cannon w/HEI.

Now that Mr. FLOZi has pointed out that it is just like the BDRM cannon, I'm fine with this. I think that a lot of people will react just like me, so it might be important to say "Remember, 14.5 is only 1.8mm bigger than 12.7, which is the size of the .50 cal."

I love it. If this isn't in .85, I'll cry.

I have a few questions about this. I know the model may or may not be completely finished, but


1. How large will the "clip" size be for the 14.5mm gun? Will it be 50, like the BDRM-2? Any more and I think it might be slightly on the overpowering side.

2. Will the gun seat require a crewmen kit to operate? If so, I think it would ruin the show a bit; with one person in the squad being crewmen instead of something useful, it could screw up squads quite a bit.

3. What type of rounds will the 14.5mm gun use? Are they going to be just like the BDRM-2's rounds, being almost completely ineffective against infantry? Or will there be splash damage?

4. How large of a "clip" size will the PKM have? I mean, it isn't really important, just curious.

5. Will it be amphibious? It is in RL, IIRC.

God, don't make the turret crewman-required for it to be manned as it'll pull it out of the ISV class like HMMVEEs, VN3s, Nanjings and Landrovers.

We need that AA version as well if US AA is moving towards Hmmw based.
