Steel Thunder was one of my favourite maps, hopefully this will be a good remake.

im probably not the only one thinking this but that does look like rolling thunder from poe2 but i dont care because i like that map and personaly i think this wouldmake a great large infantry map with trans helis and maybe a little bird

Thats a cool idea for a layer.

How much layers can we have these days? 3(64,32,16)? or just 64,32.. and 16 has to be skirmish?

128 may or may not be buggy, so dont count on it completely... have to verify with server admins on that one... theres actually a kashan 128 layer (12 vs 12 tanks) thats been in pr since v0.8 but not playable for some reason

Anyways Hughjass this is looking great, both your map projects are progressing well, let me know when your at a point to present them to the team for evaluation and we can try to get together on mumble/ts to talk about the map and maybe do a walk through.

Since theyre 4km maps as long as you have time dedicated to fixing up or altering anything that might be necesary, dont see any reason they cant be included for v0.9... even if they are not 100% complete I think theyd make lovely addition... look at muttrah city its far from complete in many eyes (including rhinos) but its in anyways since its playable enough, so what Im saying is, great work hughjass keep it up and I look forward to doing a detailed walk through of the whole map with you sometime!

some screens, there is three major problems:
Undergrowth is blurry (no idea why, only happens on that map)
Overgrowth LOD problems (ill find out how to get rid of them later on)
And some areas are of course still heavy WIP
