Good server, on the whole well admined.

I'd personally like to see servers avoid team stacking, but i understand we all want to play with our mates etc., however when all the experienced players end up on one side, it all gets a bit one sided and non contested. A bit more balance maybe needed at times.

Hell kick the numb nuts and make some room. it's a pain trying to get on. Will be great with the auto connector

Thing is, the auto connector only tries to connect every 15 seconds or 5 seconds if im right.
Which means anyone with the patience to refresh every second or two until there is a slot is going to get on the server before all the auto-connectors because before it refreshes for them you will have seen the slot and connected in about 3 seconds (if your quick) before the auto-connector has even refreshed.

Glad you enjoy the server, regarding the kicking to make room, this is often due to a high number of players coming onto the server at the same time, often their will be only 2 of us online, sometimes 25, so it varies, next patch with the release of the auto-deploy hopefully you will find it much better, and to prevent us from kicking people, we will most likely bringing in a reserved slot, may sound annoying, but it will actually increase your chances of being on the server for longer.

Glad you enjoy the server MadTommy-had a few good games with you, we have been discussing this recently, and hopefully we are going to try and spread people out, to avoid very 1 sided games.

Glad you like the server, If theirs a player idle, we may be able to kick them to make room if you ask (nicely) via mumble. Yes the auto connector should certainly improve things

It depends on how many are connecting i guess Lone, advantage with this is those with slower fingers, or those who don't want to wait, can go and make a brew, browse the web etc. while they wait.

Its a really good server, however you guys are way too trigger happy with the ol' ban button.
I got banned yesterday for mining the road outside of MEC main on muttrah. I'm guessing it was Sunash or smiley driving the apc as they banned me straight away.
Granted I did the same the day before and got asked to stop (which i did) but i think its a damn good tactic.

You should remind your UKWF members that there is such a thing as a 'Kick' option, im sure players would get the idea they are doing something wrong once they have been kicked for 2 mins.

I had a few good games last night on this server, it has got a lot better since i last played on it

If you've been warned previously for something, and you do it again, then i don't see why you need more warnings, our rules are readily avaible, we often warn players before banning them, and give them good time to respond. Many players are kicked, however somethings just aren't tolerated.

If you're going to complain get your facts straight:
1.you were banned by Recklessrecon who was on your team not by anyone on the mec side
2.you were banned not for mining uncap although thats kind of lame but for killing an APC soloist who had just returned the APC to the fortress, you then shot the next person who was trying to pick up said vehicle before finally shooting at me as i tried to retrieve it NO ONE FIRED AT YOU AT ALL
3.you were banned before for a deliberate tk on one of our members which you were lucky to get back on the server for.
4.Finally I am sick and tired of people who are selective with the truth and use this thread to ***** about individuals. You are no longer welcome on our server get over it.

Your facts are only right from your perspective.

This is how that little scenario plays out from my view:
1. I am mining the MEC area
2. I retreat to a safe location
3. I see some guy who spots me
4. Naturally i shoot him as I think he will shoot me (who doesn't shoot the enemy?), the point you made:
'NO ONE FIRED AT YOU AT ALL' what does that mean? Am i meant to follow some sort of ROE in game? How was i supposed to know he was waiting for a solo apc driver to come pick him up?
Hes out the MEC safe zone so he is no longer safe. I cant see how you could criticise my tactics there. Apc should of gone into safe zone.
5. Apc comes, i think its coming to get me, i shoot the driver as he gets out (again what is wrong with that.

Basically I'm not digging your server and i'm not bitching about individuals either.
Your truth is as selective as mine and clearly if my ban was not for mining the main road then you have made a mistake as i was unaware that the APC driver was a soloist coming back to main and I thought the guys outside main were there to hunt me down.

Ok for your benefit some clarity:

1.you were inside the mec fortress area breaking the uncap rule this is fact whatever your perspective. Our rules clearly state do not attack uncaps UNLESS AAS tells you to. If a flag has no big orange shield on it, it's uncappable therefore an uncap i really dont see how thats so hard to grasp. You may clear out a fob on said flag but you cannot stay and camp, if you had just stayed down and hid this would never have happened. So please dont blame what you percieve as harsh admins on your own inability to follow the rules.

2.APC driver was newbie who didnt know where the AAs shield was and if he was coming to get you why not hide? what are going to do against an APC shoot it with your assault rifle? The fact is and i do mean fact, is that APC guy never had a clue you were there your 2nd point indicates you to be at a safe location ,how the hell could he see you then?

3.several minutes elapsed again before the next person came to pick up APC again i ask why did you not hide? several more minutes elapsed before i showed up, again you had ample opportunity to move away.

4.The end result is you inside mec fortress area camping waiting to get easy kills, attacking a flag which is not in play therefore an uncap. You broke rules again and this is after being unbanned just the other week hence you being banned immediately and not just kicked. If you were in any doubt about the legality of what you were doing you could of just asked the UKWF Admin on your team if it's ok to stay at the fortress, which you already knew it not to be because you were told not to do it the day before which really should have given you a clue.

So as far as i'm concerned you dont have a leg to stand on especially as you still seem unable to see anything wrong with what you did.

Yea ok I see what your saying, i thought it was an honest tactic, and shooting the enemy would not be problem in that area. Clearly not. I was just trying to do something new rather than follow the rest of team to a slaughter, as this game is about playing with clever tactics. But yes it was against the rules and for that i'm sorry.

While your intentions may have been good, rules are their to be followed, to improve the quality of gaming for all,

Mixed feelings on UKWF. You guys should really sort out who you give admin rights too.

OK guys not sure if this goes here, but I have a big problem with UKWF.

Basically, I can't play on your server because whenever I join, after the map has finished loading I click 'Sqaud Assignment' and the view of the map shows, along with a small amount of the chat. But then the spawn menu never appears, the chat doesn't update and I can't get to the menu by pressing [Esc]. I have to close PR with Alt-F4.

What's going on?
