i know that russian faction don't use shootguns and there is problem with breaching slugs. maybe we should add new breaching system with stock(прикла&#1076 breaching. i think that would be more realistick. or add sawn-off shotgun.

Yap. Russia gets Beirut(IDF vs RUS), which is why there is this desert camo. And Silent Eagle(US vs Russia).

I know they have the new BTR-82 and BTR-82A coming out know they are a deep upgrade to BTR-80 since the russian military did not like BTR-90

Does that BTR happen to have a TOW on the front?
Or is this a nooby question?

Actually its not realistic at all... lol. I cant see IDF fighting Russia, ever. xD. Russia is the placeholder in Beirut for Hizbollah for now I think.

BTRs normally have 14.5 mm mg(heavy) and 7.62mm(light), thats it. Its the BMP that has the ATGM(anti tank guided missile), in american "TOW".

BTR-90 has ATGM "Korent", with all this firepower it became friggin wheeled IFV, not APC.

And MoD is OK with BTR-90, except it's kind of expensive, modernized BTR-80 and BTR-80A are way cheaper.

isnt it being redone with new engine(to unify it with BMP-3 and other vehicles), layout(we may finally see BTR with entrance at back) and reduce it costs? while the 82 series is to fill the gap before "new" 90 will arrive?

But russians are attacking from the sea this time. Anyway IDF vs Russia is just not realistic cuz its a world power vs a regional middle eastern power. But Israel, I dont think it would really do much to Russia. Compare Russia's size and army to Israel's. Israel is even smaller than Georgia. So the point is that its not realistic, but its interesting to see it play out in a virtual warfare. I'm looking forward to the Beirut map

That WAS, but not the same now. Right now there are some developed toys, ballistic missiles, laser guided missiles, anti air, anti tank, nukes.... all kinds of sick ****.

Looks good, nice to see that the Russians have desert camo now. Can't wait to play on maps with IDF and Russia battling it out. .9 is gonna be amazing

yes, yes, in 1939 soviet army was also quite developed and dominating finnish. not much changed since then really. there was a period after ww2, but it ended after soviet troops left afghanistan. underestimating your opponent is a mistake, and it is much worse if you do it being in bad shape, when also affected by your glorious past.

Lol, what do you mean nothing has changed? Weapons changed, new, more destructive weapons came, better planes and more powerful. There is nothing to underestimate. Its just laughable to think that there is a potential of Russia vs Israel. First of all, they dont have a reason to, second it would be severely unbalanced.

Lets not get political now.

Whats to compare? Our tanks still owned georgian tanks. We had georgian army hiding in tbilisi after 5 days of battle and had air superiority in couple of hours. Their Su-25s were also upgraded by Israel on behalf of US. and? xD
