Here are some of the old briefings. These used to be in the loading screen so they are
official
Qwai River
US Forces have almost reached the Qwai River. They are now preparing themselves for the final bound towards it, despite the heavy Chinese presence in the area. The area around the Qwai River is of vital strategic importance for both sides. Securing this area will provide the US Forces with a foothold that will let them stay in this area indefinitely. The Chinese troops know this, and they prepare to defend the area, thereby possibly preventing further US advancement into mainland China.
Battle of Qinling
With constant skirmishing across the Chinese front lines, British forces decide to strike a deadly blow into the Qinling mountain region. Both sides have established air bases in the foothills of the mountains, and are preparing to launch a large scale combined arms offensive through this once tranquil region.
A Small USMC mechanized unit has been attached along side the British Forces as part of a joint coalition operation. The area has a large coal deposit, crucial to the Chinese war effort in this region. The stakes are high in this large scale operation, and neither side can afford to lose.
Jabal al Burj
Immediately after the war began an unprecedented number of terrorist attacks took place targeting Israel’s temples and government buildings. The civilian death toll was staggering: 1,541 in only two months. Israel asked for US help in order to track down and eliminate the terrorist cells responsible for the attacks. Intelligence pointed towards a MEC bomb-making factory discovered in the Jabal region (southwest of Eliat) of Israel. The USMC was secretly dispatched to the area, and now must secure the factory and adjacent areas. The MEC group defending the factory is well trained, well armed, and knows that holding the bridge and dam will be vital to protecting their assets. Both sides are well prepared for the engagement that lies ahead, and know that communication and coordination, complemented by superior tactics and leadership is the key to victory.
Al Basrah
British Forces have been tasked to take control of Basrah. HQ MND SW, along with a Coy of 2 RA has been established and reinforced at the Airport. 673 Sqn AAC are also on standby with Apache attack Helicopters. British Forces have now been tasked to move forward and establish Forward Operating Bases, with their main effort being to intercept the growing Insurgent problems in and around the city. It is believed the Insurgents are operating out of Basrah Palace, and have a variety of old National Army hardware in their possesion. Civilians still occupy the city and MUST NOT be engaged. Light Dragoon Recce patrols have reported that the Mosque is also a possible Insurgent stronghold, with numerous Ammo Dumps around the area. The mission is to bring peace back to Al Basrah, so it can be returned to the Iraqi people.
Kashan
Both US and MEC forces now face an important battle, the capture of the desert of Kashan. The desert is vital for both sides for further assaults in the surrounding region, but its size and treacherous nature mean this mission will be very dangerous indeed. Both sides will have to fight through the desert, and use every advantage they can get, including the old bunker complex, which is a easily defensible position. Both sides will be utilizing available armor and air units in the region.
Ghost train
As British forces push deeper into Chinese held territory, they run into stiff resistance in this dense region of jungle. Intelligence reports suggest the train line, which snakes through the area, is being used to ferry supplies and reinforcements to the front lines, thus making it an important strategic target.
7 Gates
Chinese Forces have been operating out of a bunker under a remote citadel on Gaoli Mountain. A British light armored column is advancing on the citadel. The Chinese Forces are well dug into key defensive positions along the riverbed, having converted the citadel into a small fortress. The British must make a combined strike on these key facilities with their armored vehicles supporting their infantry. Both sides are evenly matched, the battle will be decided by how the commanders use what is avaliable to them.
Bi Ming
With a recent large PLA troop movement upriver away from Bi Ming to reinforce the border at Ta Yong, British forces seize the chance to attack, and send in their bombers to take out the PLA communication and weaken there defenses before there main ground force moves into secure the area. With the bombing raids coming in, PLA forces suspect an attack and prepare their forces for what ever may come.
Assault on Mestia
British Forces have been tasked by the remaining NATO nations to disrupt black market arms flow from the Balkan region of Mestia. Militia Forces have dug in to defend their facilities and destroy the British intruders!
Al Kufrah Oilfield
The US 1st Armored Division has been deployed to Libya in order to eliminate the MEC presence there. Capture of the Libyan municipality of Al Kufrah will provide the Coalition with a foothold in Libya. With Oil providing over half of Libya’s GDP, the oilfields and refineries in Al Kufrah have become the Coalition’s primary target. The 2nd Battalion 70th Armor has been tasked with the capture of an important oilfield east of Maaten al-Sarra. Satellite images show a MEC base in the area, and intelligence reports suggest that a MEC armoured battalion is stationed there. The elimination of the MEC presence in the oilfield is vital to success of Coalition forces in Libya.
Road to Kyongan'Ni
Two weeks ago the NKPA wrested control of Kyongan'Ni's vital high-capacity bridgehead from the ROK. Recently overextended into the southwestern plains by our ally's retrograde operations, the NKPA armored companies were drawn into open country and crushed by close air support and armored units of the 3rd MEU. With the collapse of mobile enemy resistance, Marines launch a hasty offensive to exploit the breach. Leading AFVs from the 1st Combat Assault Battalion will be supporting 2/3's Echo Company in their hasty offensive to recapture the bridgehead. PLA Forces will be fighting hard to hold the small village in the area, supported by the small garrison further up river.
Sunset City
After Securing Dragon valley the US forces have moved onto their next target: Sunset City. Managing to occupy a gas station, they are preparing for the assault, a pitched battle through the streets of Sunset City to their goal; a PLA military base just north of the city. The PLA forces have been expecting their adversary and have been in preparation all day. Needless to say this is going to be a tough battle that neither side can afford to lose.
