Yeah when I took my headphones off and had my back to them firing (ie couldn't see the shot), every one made me jump.

That was nothing in comparison to the CR2 though.

any videos of that at all??

at least you were not using an old video camera, i remember the first time i went to fairford seeing my dads camera get changed from a colour one to a black and white one by the B1B lancer (and then we had concorde setting off all the car alarms as well)

Yeah , I got a couple ... one on the tank firing, and one on the target fired at (quite funny as you see the camera jog up just like in the Warrior shoot :p ).

I'll post them once I have them cleared (and edited out the 5 minutes waiting for them to shoot).

how ever!
it makes me HAPPY to see people act so very enthusiastic for a project :!: :!: :!:

Holy ****, that's a lot more than I expected. Thanks for posting all those vid, it's always nice to see a corelation between the sound and reality.

The MLRS reminds me of a T-72M we had in Olomouc. There's no need for the enemy to do anything, you just fire up one of these elders and half of your troops get stoned :)

Cheers for the shining "review"! It was great to meet you guys too. I hope my ramblings and various tid-bits of info came in handy over the week as well.
[R-DEV]Twisted Helix wrote:Think he had fun as well ... the whole trip was a blast.
Oh definitely. The whole week was rather amazing, apart from the sunburn! :o ops:

To answer some questions as to why I was there. Well there are many reasons, a couple of which include:

1. BIA (technically now BISim) are looking to improve our sound in VBS, especially for the GB content. So after some discussions with UK_Force we decided to check out how you guys operate (and I have to say, very impressive!) with the idea that we may all work together in the future for everybodys benefit.

2. I had to visit Bovington/Lulworth for some related work, so it made sense to combine the trips into one.

As UK_Force says, discussions will begin soon!
