Ok, that's no problem. Glad you liked it.
I forgot to tell you that the Eurofighter and Q-5 will not be in the final version, they're just there for me to have fun. Same with the Merlin. Oh yeah, if you want to fly the Merlin, NEVER exit from the side. You'll go crash. And er... don't go to the Southwest end of the city for now... actually, there's no city there right now.

Uh oh... big problem: I updated to editor version 1.3 and when loading my map, this happens.
Any clues?

or drag that error window to the side, and you will see what file is corrupted that it was loading.

I know what the error is. It's the WZ551, but the funny thing is, there is no WZ551 on my map.

Wait, there is a WZ551, two of them in the ship's launch bay. I don't know why it would cause a problem though... The file it crashes on when loading is mods\mappingmod\objects\effects\...\p_shell_25mm.bundlemesh.

try to remove them out of the gameplayobjects.con, make a backup first, then try and load and see if it works.

Ok, I did that, but there has been no change. I remmed this line in editor/Gameplayobjects.con:
ObjectTemplate.setObjectTemplate 1 APC_WZ551

remove the spawn point bit for it...

Ok, the APC issue is solved, now the tank has an issue, something about the Kord's ammo box. I can't go on removing every vehicle!

reinstall the mod or BF2 is my advise.

heh, id say backup and remove all the vehicles. Finish the map and then go on adding vehicles afterwards? (after a reinstall) could use usmc/pla/whatever works vehicles to test?

no the problem aint with the map, its trying to load vehicles on the map (that should be fine), but the vehicles them selfs are buggy.

I had I similar problem (though it was caused my my own stupidity, not from updating).
Try this:
Copy the content file from (Your Battlefield 2 folder)/bf2editor/settings/default and overwrite the Content file in (Your Battlefield 2 folder)/bf2editor/settings. Make sure to make a copy of the content file you are overwriting.
That's what fixed my problem, and I was getting similar error messages, though your problem is probably completly different, it is worth a try as it is alot quicker than reinstalling.

Hm... I think that could be it, but all the content.ini controls is what is loaded. So if I take away a certain item, maybe it'll work.

Ok, no, it didn't work. Did anybody else have to put their vehicles aside when mapping? Because it causes a LOT of complications. Grrr... I hate how BFeditor.org is down!

Well, I've got the map running on the editor now... sheesh. How do you guys get your editor running? I can't even add vehicles now, it's more like a down-grade.
Edit: I'm probably just going to revert to the old version. I can't work like this. It just crashed on my again after doing some fixing.

did you uninstall the old editor before the new?
