interesting layout and kudos on not taking the easy way out on having only 90degree angles and such.
Thanks, Im just glad to get it over with haha! Took a lot of motivation to actually do it considering I get 0 help from College (all self taught like most people here)

if you're not doing anything with it in particular you should put that up on fpsbanana as a kukri custom model for the TF2 sniper. looks cool.

Finally got my steampunk rifle packed and test bakes have begun. Still loads of things to fix before I can safely begin to texture this baby, but very excited at how it turned out.
final specs will be at:
15k tris
3x 2048x2048
3x 1024x1024
might be 4-5x of each texture since i haven't decided on using gloss or illumination maps yet.

That weapon model I showed a few pages back I made a modular weapon selection system for. A few random examples of the output:
try it for yourself in your browser if you want:
Unity Web Player | WebPlayer
There is an old bug in there that if you lock an axis and then force another value to either 0 or 100 it might fuck up.

that Unity web player devs were too lazy to make it for linux
does it work like you only change those values and it dynamically changes the looks of the weapon? Seems like an excellent idea to me

Lol I really can't hide my inspirations can I? hehe. It wasn't really intended to be anything like 40k, but I guess my love for that art style shows through.
@lucky.BOY, yes that is what happens
