i went to town, credits of course to Jafar Ironclad for the screenshot
the air ripple by heat from the jet exhaust was really hard to make look good and it's barely noticeable, whaddaya think?

About the blur even after you've mentioned it I can only just see it so it's not really necessary lol.
Grat work mate, I like how you've matched the grain from the background picture as well, makes it look much better. For future reference you might want to increase the blue level and reduce the contrast a bit on the background objects (The migs in this case)

The image looks much better and with the heat ripple than without it, quess I'll just have to learn to make it pop out more and look more realistic, just blurring it doesn't look right but it's also really hard to make the ripples look naturalthanks for the feedback!

hahaha do you actually know where this is? I'd hate to go crawling through all of Mongolia on google maps looking for that river to find out you don't have a bloody clue

I edited one of Jafar's Screenshots and this is my outcome. Just getting back into the jist of editing so it's nothing compared to splatters xD anyways here it is....
