I even asked him why he is spamming, but of course I didnt get an answer. he rather kept on spamming until he finally left to play some Squad. which of course he had to tell us via admin message as well.
there were incidents before that, which made me think about HoG admins, but now I really have to wonder about your guys capabilities of administrating a server in a mature way. seeing that admin spam yesterday and then read 3ti65's post here afterwards is just too much for me
The admin is spamming huh, not the players?
whats your ingame name?

why you need my ingame name?
and its not spamming when the admin writes pointless after pointless information by using admin messages for that? like chanting for one of the 2 teams? telling all 100 players how funny it is watching planes in prism? or telling 100 players that you are going to play another video game? that is NOT spam?
and where did I say the players dont spam????? why are you so salty? can't you face honest criticism?

Super, I'm gonna be blunt with you. The way you talk it sounds like you're in denial instead of taking the report seriously, asking who did it and when it happened in order to clarify what was going on. But not only are you treating his criticism as personal attack and misinformation, but you sound immature and childish in your response. All of that in two lines, I'm quite amazed you still have your server license.

If I had to take a wild guess after reading his answer, I would say it was him spaming with prism yesterday

Lets not have this devolve into threats against a community's license. Even if an admin was spamming Prism, and being overly strict against allchat use... that's no ground's to attack a server's right to having a license.
=HOG= is well known for their strict rule enforcement, and they pride themselves on it. I'd take that into consideration whenever joining their server. What I'm seeing here seems rather avoidable.
You don't pull on a tiger's tail and then get mad when it bites you. Maybe you shouldn't have screwed with the tiger.

I wonder what you consider spamming. 4 messages in 5 minutes?

his point is, if they arent allowed to spam, admins shouldnt either, so you shouldnt.

A threat? I'm just amazed, nothing else. Maybe HOG stepped up their game during the last few months, but according to those I asked, who play regularly on the server, that doesn't seem to be the case, hence my amazement. Neither did Super's attitude change from what I can tell, "an admin did that, huh?", does that sound to you like you're being taken seriously?

For your information, I don't think I've visited HOG more than 2 or 3 times after 1.0, nothing said here affects me in any way.

We need your in-game name so we can decide if your claims are viable. That's how an investigation starts, we first have to decide if what you say is true or just erroneous jib-jab. This might sound a little pessimistic of me, but to get at the truth of what you claim, we first must prove your intent. We must know if your intent is honorable or deceitful, if you're really here for, as you put it "honest criticism", or do you have a hidden agenda. Once we prove what you say is true, we can then figure out who is doing wrong and correct it. And, I hope you can understand how we can't just assume what you say is true

because as you probably well know there's always three sides of a story.
But if you're unwilling to provide us with a simple name than what was the point of even bringing this up. Also, If you're unable to provide tangible proof this happened or that you were even there than you should have just remained a bystander and said nothing.

i told time and map and super already found the spam i was talking about. so whats your problem right now? that isnt proof enough that i was there?
and you have to admit that supers request of my name at first sounded like a salty incoming ban. because he didnt say anything about investigating or something of that kind.
and hidden agendas sounds a bit paranoid to me. what would that actually be in this case?

The complaint has some validity. The admin was spoken with. We just wanted your name to make it easier to find the event. We do not ban for reports. We are cautious when it comes to complaints because we often find that the complaints are lodged by banned or often kicked players who hide their ID to give them more credibility....not paranoid, just factual.
Dont be paranoid Frontline....the way u take/took it is not how it is/was meant (as a threat) just a way to make it easier to find. When Super says "an admin did that" it is a statement of amazement, not doubt...we police our admins and hold them to the rules more vigorously than we do players, hence the surprise to hear such an event occurred...the negative outlook and quick condemnation you harbor seems to cloud your opinions....chill a bit, we are just trying to do the right thing and be fair to everyone despite the doubts...
We know we generate a lot of HOG haters with our strict enforcement....thats fine with us.... We have a set of rules and we enforce them, even with our admins. We make every effort to train and police our admins.
We have found that it is better to have quality game play and quality admins over a server that everyone loves.
Despite the complaints, some legitimate, we have for many years maintained a core group of players and admins that populate our server daily for the quality game play.
Those who get kicked/ banned/ warned....will be quick to criticize...there is no way to please everyone.
While we appreciate you taking your time to add to the quality of this compliant, you rarely play on our server and it, your opinion, which is fine to have, has no effect on your gameplay or the HOG server...
This report is a great example of that. He lodged a complaint. We investigated. We handled it. What more could one ask for?
This is just a game that we strive to improve and enjoy...our system seems to work well for us and those who play on our server daily.

What's up with the locked squads rule? Why aren't we allowed to lock after 6-man, this is the first week on playing on your server I've run into this issue.
On Dragon Fly a few days back we were rolling with a 8 man squad with friends/clanmates coming in and out and we were warned to open our squad at 7 people locked, while waiting for a friend to switch over from Militia, whom we also !r request to be switched over.
On a 7 man lock with the last guy leaving not even 5 minutes ago, waiting for a friend to be switched, trying to exfil out of the blown up cache, while there being 2 other squads that were open (one with 4 people and one with 6), we got warned to unlock, and then had our squad leader resigned, as well as 3 other people that took SL in a quick succession. Madness.

we are working on that but there has to be a point that you cant lock the squad because then we have 5, 2 man locked squads and no one else can get in a squad.
We are discussing this today. Please be patient.

Alright, I am not one to complain about these types of things, but I have to echo what others have said before in this thread: Your admins have really got to learn how to warn before kicking folks.
This is what happened to me today: We were playing on Kamisiyah AAS and for the first 40 or so minutes of the round I was playing in a squad lead by Phantom. Out main task was to defend the demolition depo. We managed to do that for the better part of those 40 minutes until we got wrecked by a Bradley.
In any case, soon after that, Phantom left the squad and my squadmembers did that beautiful dance where everyone rejoins to pass on the responsibility of squadleadership to the next unsuspecting squadmate. Naturally at some point I got to be SL. Because I am not that apt for squadleading I left the squad, planning to rejoin, but right at that moment our FOB got overrun by enemies. I hope you understand that in a case like that joining a squad would not be my first priority.
I climbed on top of a nearby tower with a sniper kit and with the help of the others still left alive we managed to hold the enemy offense off. Right when things got interesting my game suddenly freezes up. Looking at the chat I see Jevski's "!k Strategos squad". And with that the round was over for me and pretty much ruined. No chance to rejoin for another 10 minutes because your server is so popular.
That kick command in the chat was the only communication I got from the admins. No warnings, no nothing. In total I was maybe playing for 4-5 minutes without a squad due to the heat of the moment. And that deserves a kick without a warning? This has got to stop. You guys have got to instill into your admins that it takes a lot more to admin a server than to know how to swing the kick/banhammer. Thanks.
