Merkava Mk IV.
20.6K tris and 10 hours of work total, still WIP.
edit: forgot about converting these chains to mesh, its about 10k tris additional, but anyways it gonna be flat texture.

Not quite as awesome as everyone elses, but ill post it here anyway!
M48 Patton (Vietnam Era)
I just realised I forgot to put another 2 bars on the cage/rack, and that currently its the worst equipment rack in history...(one for the bottom, one for the middle)
Its for an RTS game and its LOD0 so the maximum tri count is 6,000. This model is 5,222. Optimizing it to be under 500 tris is going to be a *****... (Treads, Boxes and turret/sloped frontal armour will be the most tris I feel)

Offtopic question: Does anyone know why the merkava have these chains on the back of its turret? I'm curious.

Finished a few older things, trying to finish every project at the moment for the sake of finishing things.

It has a lot of problems with it still and really did not get where I wanted to go with it. Some small errors on the normal here and there and a pretty unfinished texture. I got tired of working on it though and just textured it.
And of course a million other things in the works at some stage.

Installation of chain netting to disperse and destroy rocket propelled grenades and anti-tank rockets before impacting the primary armor increased survivability. Wiki.
About 3 hours work, 3988 Tris, 1362 Polys.
I hope to export it as a static for PR with extremely weathered textures, for my own use.

Could be used in the PR Vietnam and Normandy.
I also made a German trip-flare that could be used in Normandy.

Dead thread is dead.
I'll try to kick some life into it.
Assignment was to create a complete futuristic scene in a day. Actual work hours on that was probably under 3h, can't really call browsing the interwebs etc. work Whaddayathink?

Looks good, too bad all toughs poor Elephants had to die
Only thing that was shopped was the vignette around the pic, but then again it's not a model per se but a bunch of models i.e. a complete scene. Thought this was the right place to post, you have Hulabi to blame for that idea though

I think Rhino thought it was a PS drawing, and not a 3D render.
I really do like it, especially the building to the left. looks awesome, and it would be so cool if such a building could be found IRL

Nice. Kinda Mirrors Edge-ish. But I take it you didn't model every building as well in 3h?
