well.. what i would like to see(if not said or allready have now) is to drive a viechle into the back of the Merlin.. now i havent played the mod cause im new to it.. but it would be sweet to drive a tank or a jeep up into a merlin then unload it and scare the **** out of the enemy
Oh i hate when people para into a zone.. and they get 20 feet off the ground, to be more realistic, you could add something that opens the parachute at a certain altitude

Yes it has already been said. Three things :
- an Abraham tank weight about 60 tons, and I believe the strongest copter can carry about 10 or 15...
- the BF2 motor doesn't allow a vehicule to carry another one, because the second explodes systimatically !
- a solution would be to lift vehicules in BF Vietnam but it has already been discussed and rejected.
So no vehicules carying others for now. They only run by themselves and carry people for some.

I'd like to see the UH-1Y Hueys that are being brought in service, basically heavier little birds, but with gatling guns on the side, and rocket pods on the racks, in one package. The driver operates missiles, the Co-pilot operates the 2nd missile rack, and of course there are two gatling gunners and then the rest of the crew (4 more) all chill with their weapons. Of course, for balancing issues, you'd only need maybe one or two per map.
Also, maybe have the MV-22 Osprey, which is coming out to replace the CH-46 Sea Knight. This aircraft will have a rear mounted m240 and a nose mounted gatling gun, that I believe can swivel.
On the aircraft side, maybe give the USMC the F-35 which is coming into service. This would only be on Carrier maps.
Everything is really sweet, and keep up the superb work guys.
I'd also like to see the MH-53 Pave Low III, which is a CH-53 converted gunship, and it is loaded with firepower. It'd be pretty awesome to just hover around with the crew manning the gatling guns, and the crew chief blasting off rockets. Thanks for listening guys!

First, I'm sorry I didn't read the whole thread before posting, I think I will when I have more time.
and then to suggestions I know some may have been said (mayby all):
1. I really like to have the damage to affect you in game, and to be hitted to different positions to have different effect. Like u get shot in leg: moving speed redused and standin accuracy decreased or in worst case moving redused to prone position and dmg taken when trying to stand. and second examble shot taken to arm: lot of accuracy taken and mayby with big weapons little dmg taken when shooting. And bleeding only affect or effect to take more damage when shot to more critical places (I know that It's hard to get these things into game, but it would be cool)
2. second I don't think that the communications between groups are that bad in real world, so what has been said at least few times that you shouldn't see friendly units in 3dmap, should not be changed to anywhere. Mayby to see own squad units and even friendly squad leaders all time in 3dmap would increase the teamplay value. (though might be hard to restrict things you see in 3dmap and this is my opinnion)
3. shooting without aiming could be more inaccurate (than it is in v.0.5) what I've tested is that with sniper you can shoot without scope as well as with it.
If it could be added there could be that if you first put scope on and take it out, shoot without moving you can shoot well. But if you run into fight and shoot without scope, the aim would be very poor.
4. lot of different weapons with different functions. And different armies of course.
I will add some suggestions when I have some in mind, and for these, they are just suggestions and I know that game mechanics might not support them at all, or it would take lot from computer to run the game. But if it's possible I'd really like to see some of these.

I'd also suggest, to make the Hueys more unique to have Side mounted, Pilot controlled gatling guns, these guns would be attached near the rocket pods, and would remain under pilot controls.
The two m240s under the Huey gunners/passengers would be unaffected.
I also think the MEC should get the AK-101, because that is a more "professional" variant of the AK-47, which is operated by the insurgents and militia.

Capturing enemies, instead of killing, in special occasions you can hold captive a hostage for both US or Insurgents, and then you can execute them if you like or trade those hostages for strategic points like in real life.
I know this is a major long shot, but it would be fun to be in Al Basrah on insurgent side and then capture an US pilot who parachuted after being shot down and incarcerate him in like a room inside the Palace.
Wouldn't it be fun to see a squad saving its players going through the trouble of rescuing and going in ghost recon type of mode into the Palace saving its teammates?

that would be good acting as a uav noing where the enemy is

Insurgents would rather kill US soldiers then trade them. And the second paragraph it sounds like xtract.. ooo idea for basy

SO i would like to see no one but crew members on the tank ! and APC!
except from passengerseats.
And when the maingun is fired i would like to see a HIT flash through the smoke in the sights. The APDSFS velocity is about 2000 meters/sek and when it hits steel it makes a striking white flash. Meaning a clear HIT. Meaning Your still alive !
Allso the APDSFS is like a dart if it hits a car in a no vital spot it will just run right through causing no particular damage.
The gunners sight
must not lose its zome when reloadind it is vital !!!
This i know from real life!

I'm just watching a an extract from BlackHawk down when a BH get shot in tha back and loose his tail rotor... so what about coding this damage possibility ?
And it would be really more realistic if the propeller blades could take damages with the environment but it should be hard coding.
I'm thinking about the copter simulating game called Med Evac, I broke severals times my tail rotor in it, then the copter go turning in round. In spite of that, I finished the mission several times with this damage, taking speed to stabilize the flight and landing fast benefitting from inertia so I wasn't turning around too much ! But I don't know if it is a realistic way to flight
At least, copters pilots are trained to land in autorotation. That happens when you loose your engine so you plunge to the ground to maintain rotation the blades and just before you pull up collective to profit from the remainder of the bearing pressure and land gently. That's a really difficult operate that's need training but again it would be more realistic than jumping with parachute.

Your just the man I need to talk to.
I would like the main gunner in the tank to be able to zoom in some how.
in vB2, there was no need for this because the gameplay allowed the tanks to fight really close combat.
I was trying out a four man locked squad (two tanks), and I was frustrated that I could not see long distances.
Would it be possible to automatically zoom in your aim at about 50% when in a tank. This would allow them to be used at long range. (How they are used mostly in RL.)

Limit the speed and the total amount of health a medic can heal themsevles.
Perhaps only allow the medic to heal themselves up to 50%.
Reason: Still a strong kit, because of its 100% rejuvination ablities.

This is radical, but make the medic a limited kit.
Allow one medic/ 8 players. Four medics for a 32 manned platoon is plenty.
Granted, they will need to stay behind the lines more and role-play their special kits for best results.
However, due to the respawn timer being short, by the time the medic was transproted to the soilder, they would have already resawned.

A real tank have permanent zoom on the sight that means you switch between 5X and 15X. or you can swith to thermal image same zoom.
