As you might have guessed, I'm not a big Star Trek (it's star trek right?

) fan. But yeah I meant Picard.. It's uncanny man! Seriously mental

Damn Tim, I love it when you post something in this thread. Always absolute quality. Great job (yeah I know, if you look at all my previous posts it's always nice job etc... But seriously, you guys rock ;D) Serious nice detail. Is this just something for fun (I'm assuming it is) or is this for some kind of project your working on?

hehe thanks
Not quite sure how far it will end up going. Hopefully going to bake it down and texture and use it as a portfolio piece, maybe even put it in a little scene in the UDK. If it ever gets that far though is uncertain.
Going to be a Gatling gun btw.

WIP sculpt, any crits appreciated.
Looks good,
I started laughing, in the US there was a skull found, very very old, was nicknamed "Kennewick man", they had a forensic artist do a reconstruction... it looks like your WIP sculpture, and Picard.
longer article explaining it:
Kennewick Man

I've seen some people linking tuturials in here, so I'll link a script, move or remove if needed. It's a tree generating script which is free to use commercially and for non-commercial projects. I can't really evaluate if it's a good script but maybe someone can use it for something good.

How much you usually spend time on a low poly.
Made this in 3 hours. I know its hasty. It probably could have more tris in corners, but I have to finish this tonight.
I miss the days when they seemed to take forever. Why I didnt model back then
* I added a buggy baked version of it. Does anybody have idea why the baking gave those funny edges?
