this should have never happened. but for now, he is unbanned.
I completely disagree about us being 50m close to main. We were flanking around the fort to the south of us so we could engage the Stryker with a HAT. The Stryker drove up the ramp back to main, and engaged us from their main. We didn't return fire. Chris was banned soon after, and my teammate and I were killed. That said, we appreciate you guys fixing the situation later.

Funny cause the same guy, chrisweb, was camping DoD on BASED just a few days ago.

Yall agree when I say HOG seems to be the server with most teamplay?
I just feel that when joining NWA or PRTA, there is so many...very-non-speaking-english-guys...

he was given one chance, he has vowed to do it again, which we obviously wont stand for that. guess that is the MO for the |69th| clan?

That's not 50 meters from main and again, we were flanking the Styker with the HAT. It's not 69th's MO to camp main. We've been around since version. .7 and know what happens when people camp main. Again, we appreciate the problem was fixed but it'd be helpful in the future if HOG could have more admins that speak English as their first language and who are also playing the game during peak US hours, especially when HOG rules kick non-US speakers

the problem is not the admin speaking english, it is chrisweb standing across from main waiting to farm kills on the armor.

Chris was not waiting to farm armor kills. He was actually killed by the Stryker while it was on the ramp leading up to US main. We never shot at the armor.
Now I'm just reiterating at this point, but maybe you guys should have admins on that speak English as a first
language on during peak US hours rather than having one or two that have a very difficult time speaking English and who ban people before even warning them.
I get that you're backing up your admins. I would do the same, but in the past three days that I've played there was nary an admin on, and when there was, they banned first, didn't ask questions, and then when we tried to speak to them in TS, they could barely form a sentence which comes at complete odds with the precedents your server has made by kicking players who don't speak English.

we are not going to warn you, you are warned in our rules. AGAIN, your warning is posted already in our rules.
you had better read them, looking thru the logs, shows allot of rule violations and even warnings. Follow the server rules, this is your warning.
you should go read our rules as they state, we are notifing you in our RULES, THOSE pose as your warning.
and he speaks english and it doesnt really matter as he DOES know the rules, how about you?

I know the rules, and I know I make mistakes. Hopefully you can understand that your admins makes mistakes too. Thanks for taking our feedback, we look forward to playing on your server soon!

The admins only error was to ban him and not temp ban him as he should have.... that was corrected and he apologized to chris for the error. The admin speaks english but it is limited. He is a good admin that follows the rules and enforces them fairly. We try encourage European players to play on our server and we actively seek European admins...it is good for our server and for PR players.
Chris was an admin on HOG....he knows the rules and based on his behavior he is no longer an admin.
He knows that he should set an example not be the example of a player that skirts the line between what is fair play and what is not....
We are striving for gameplay that encourages players to enjoy PR and the rules are there to facilitate a good overall player experience....
sitting outside of main and shooting apcs just outside of main is not good for anyone. Then telling me he was going to do it again is just over the top...He does not get it. It is selfish interests over taking what is best for the server and other players on the server.

Had fun tonight!

Ugh, I would totally be on Wanda Shan right now if I didn't DC!

Loving the map choices, keep it up HOG. Not many issues either!

He did not engage the APC. I'm not sure why you keep bringing that up considering you told me in TS minutes later that Evox was looking at Battlerecorder which would have shown us being engaged by the APC and never returning fire.
At this point, I'm certain neither of us are going to agree on this incident. It was handled afterward, that's all that matters at this point. We, at 69th (a group of friends from the TG days) appreciate that. I brought up some (what I believed) valid criticisms of the admin team at HOG, your head admins rebuffed them. That's fine. All that matters at this point is we were able to talk about it in some form. Thank you.
That said, I believe it was completely unprofessional to bring up my warning and temp ban history when there was no reason to. It was an attempt at character assassination for no reason. Yes, I like to drink while I play, and sometimes I've paid the price for it over the 6 years I've played on HOG. I'm glad you all were understanding enough to kick me in those situations rather than temp ban me. In fact, according to my post history I've raised my hand and apologized publicly to you guys about my drunken behavior in the past. However, to bring that up when we're arguing about the conduct of your admins and the veracity of your admins claims, as well as the hypocrisy of your server rules does not reflect well on your head admins. I'm not looking for an apology at this point, but I expected better.
Thanks again for hearing me out and, as you saw today, I look forward to playing on your server.

it is sad someone of your caliber here because you are a chronic rule breaker shifting blame, we too expected better. Guess you arent as good as you demand us to be.
thats ok, we arent perfect, but we will catch up to the rules breakers, griefers and trolls eventually.

I'm not sure I shifted blame. I called out a head admin who had to bring up my warnings as a way to misdirect readers from the fact that he can't get adequate admins on during peak hours or handle feedback from small incidents before said head admin took it personally.
If I had an entire player's history in my back pocket, especially one who plays daily I'd be tempted to call them griefers too. Also if I was head admin with Battlerecorder privileges, I'd look up the video before looking like complete ****, but that's just me.
As always I'll be on over the next few days. If you don't like my conduct, ban me over that merit rather than your pettiness today.
I've handled things well until now, but do yourself a favor and look up the Battlerecorder. I dare you. We never engaged the APC at US main. I now expect an apology.

we dont owe you an apology for anything other than what haley gave you. your a proven rule breaker, just follow the rules and you will be fine. I mean, we are obviously fair, you can still play there.

Right but why did you have to bring up my history when there was no reason to? We were talking about a specific incident that shows a slight hypocrisy in your rules (kicking people who don't speak English, but having admins who have a difficult time forming a coherent sentence) and a lack of awareness with what happened. There's nothing within that argument that leads to character assassination.
I complimented on your fairness, yet you call me a griefer, cheater, etc, if I was that much of a cheater wouldn't I be banned by now; especially since I've played since 2010?

ok, you should really read the rules, we dont kick for no english man, just read them and you will understand it.
the rule is: English is the primary language for this server, you must speak English to use heavy assets. just go read them so we dont have to explain it all here. it IS on our website.
our rules have been the same for years, you dont like them, i get that, so you want to edge them, we dont allow that. BASED doesnt allow it either and they see the same thing from your guy on their server.
You ALWAYS bring history of actions into a conversation, the reason is, it will seperate the the ones that truly have a logical grievance vs the ones that got spanked for rule violations and want to flame us.
We have been server admins for longer than you have been playing pr, we are good at it. I know you disagree with our rules and that is fine, come to our website and we can hash out those issues there. It is STILL an open, unlocked forum for everyone to see.
Good day.
