Long ago theorized that the reason for the delays was that the PR team was waiting for me to upgrade my PC to an Arma friendly rig. I literally -not but 5 mins before seeing this update - just today ordered a gtx 570 to replace the last piece of my old rig left to be upgraded (an old 4850)
To the PR: arma team, thank you for waiting for me.

I havent played PR in ages but I bought Arma 2 probably almost a year ago just for this... finally I can play it again. One question when is UTC do they mean UK time?

UTC is UTC(0) and yes UK time. You should know what time you have relative to UTC (0). I live in sweden and have UTC (+1) so that should be 19:00 for me but we have summertime now so it's 20:00.

Project Reality does indeed take matters like this serious (which for most is seen as a general comment), for 6 years we have all as a Development team grown, and in turn know we have a responsibility to the PR community.
This is around the 8th post I have seen over the last 6 months when a release is due, and is of major concern to me.
It may simply be a "slip of the tongue" however when it is posted in Public, it is something as PR Management that needs to be considered, and actioned.
A discussion over the last few days with the PR Management highlighted that actually releasing on a school Day, ie traditionally Fridays is not the answer.
To eleveate this it was suggested, and has been before, that we move to a Saturday Release.
As per PEGI - ARMA2/OA = 16+, so we do indeed need to ensure we are covered as a Development team too.
(Any Parents on here will understand I am sure)
For the Community this makes sense, and for the team, it allows time for last min problems to be rectified (we have Jobs etc too).
A decision will be made in the next few hours I hope.

Yup that makes sense to push it back a day. After all it is a game and nothing is more important than your future (unless your future is making games, then yeah knock your self out since they dont teach you this shit in school)

I heard it was more like 9 months because of staff changes etc... That makes the release even more epic after just 9 months, WELL DONE guys you deserve a rest, but, we wont let you. We need more more MORE!
