This could explain why they are impossible to overrun hehe.

Good Morning,
Three fresh ammo boxes from a techie will provide you with 14 pressure plate mines.

Does holding shift when you're sniping actually increases your accuracy/ decreases deviation? A spotter of mine once told me that, and since then I've been doing it and telling other snipers I work with, but now that I think about it, I'm not even sure if it actually does anything.
That doesn't do jack shit.
Once I was sniping and a the guy next to me told me that I need to press 3 to breathe out. I said to him, that it doesn't matter, as the settle time between shots is x seconds and that is just an audio cue.
But he kept insisting that it is proper breathing.
Holy fking christ I think I shot him in the head after a while.

Correct.

Good Evening,
Don't remember if this has been mentioned in this thread or not but here goes:
It takes 16 seconds to lay a mine and maybe even the same for the C4 satchel.
The shovel uses the same game mechanic/code as a medic bag (as per a dev). So, IMO, it would appear that staying still while shoveling increases productivity.
I haven't found the maximum number of pressure plate mines that one can lay as people keep stepping on them regardless of mumble chatter or mine markers blanketing the area. Anyone know? I've gotten up to 36 and none disappeared.

Good Morning,
Don't understand this post? Getting a dandelion isn't that considered an "off-topic" discussion?
This thread is a list of information about PR. While some of it is useful to some, it is useless to others, especially considering our current player base. Every round I play, someone is looking for PR Tech Support as they didn't even glance at the manual or any other reading material before jumping in.
On another note, the 12-13 seconds for laying the smaller C4 stick and other related "minor" controlled explosives is a timeframe to plan for. This allows you to stay in cover for the majority of the process and allows you to time your rush to the item you wish to destroy.

Ah, yes, sounds like you need to join the development team and code the fixes and new systems, no?
Have you seen the changelog? Have you noticed how much work (hours) these volunteers have put in to bring about v1.4? Simply amazing.
We are lucky these guys have the dedication, the skill, and the time to do all this work for our benefit.

Good Evening,
v1.4.2
A pressure plate mine takes out a fob if laid beside it and triggered by inf.
A pressure plate has a blast radius of 6-7 meters. It will at least destroy a jeep at 6 meters and cause a transport truck to start seriously sparking at 5 meters. Tested by me and frauds on Area 94.
A pressure plate will take out a "deployed" and stone bridge like the ones on Basrah.
On Asad Kahl, started trying out how many ammo bags I could have in one area from different kits. I got up to 9 before the round ended, it was 7 in earlier versions before they would start disappearing.
