I sometimes answer 10-4 instead of yes to my real life buddies that play PR with me too, lol. But they understand.

you are actually in PR in your dream!
Yes I was...last night. I was in a Korengal/Kashan mix map with my buddies. It was the start of the map and we were rushing to prepare an ambush to US tank. We had both AT kit
I had to say it was fun

you try to try to use keyboard keys to control your movements IRL...
I've had several times that when i needed to do something like crouch, the very first thought that went through my mind was "press Ctrl" and then actually made a slight instinctive movement with my pink in the direction of the Ctrl key on an imaginary keyboard..

Its worse when you get more than one PR player in any one place. Camping in Scotland last summer and my mate needed a hand pitching his tent, so he put on his raspberry berret (yes I know, wrong on so many levels) and shouted "R.E.M.E needed on this location" I was busy refresing myself with a dry martini in a plastic cup after carrying most of the gear, so I pointed to my floppy hat and replied "Unable to comply". B*****D bought me a Surplus Dutch army helmet and folding shovel for my birthday.

You know you've played to much PR when you:
...go prone on the sidewalk waiting for the green light.
...say "Over and out..." just before you flush your toilet.
...tell your buddy to "hold your fire" when he's checking out your girlfriend.
...aim at the toilet seat for 8 seconds before taking a leak.
...find yourself signing documents with your BF2PR call sign instead of your name.
...tell the bus driver to drop you off in "Bravo-Six-Kilo-Papa-Eight". After realizing he doesn't understand, you do the only logical thing and say "How copy?".
...tell your girlfriend she has a "tango on her six" before you execute the doggy style.
...say "Oscar Mike" before you start walking.
...play regular BF2 and can't stop asking yourself how come you're still on the server when you're not in a squad.
...say "Clear comms" when you want your drunk friend to stop talking.
...say things like "Requesting supplies" or "I need ammo" instead of "Another beer, please.".
...keep saying "Lasing target" when you change channels on your TV.
...clear the corners before walking to the fridge to have a snack."
...say things like "Frag out" in the bathroom while going number 2."
...say "Solid copy" instead of "I understand" when your boss gives you the last warning before firing you because you've been late for work the entire month because you've been busy trying to destroy weapon's caches that don't really exist.
...play Project Reality and ask yourself how come some company didn't hire every single person that gave you the best FPS video game experience you've had since the original Ghost Recon.

Celebrating new years eve drinking and having fun with a couple of ukranians who are speaking in russian, because of not understanding shit you start thinking and searching in your mind if you know any rusian words, then you remember all the radio spaming done when being in the chechen team, and then you say shaska, di mama is shashka.. they guys ask you where you learn that? because you are pronouncing it wrong, and then you say no man, its good because its a chechenian saying it!
After a few minutes you are all screaming in the streets SHASHKA! DI MAMA IS SHASHKA!! SHASHKAAAAA!!!!!!
