Romangalo the blackhawk you posted is the MH-60K which is used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR). Its most recognizeable for its role in Operation Gothic Serpant or Battle of Mogadishu, a.k.a Black Hawk Down. There are very few of these helo's in production, its very costly and its equipped with state of the art cockpit. The nose is equipped with the latest FLIR devices, the engines and transmissions are upgraded,and it comes equipped with a TF/TA device.

The ARMY uses the UH-60 A,C,L,M,Q versions

Well... since Rhino said close to the Mi-26... I'm guessing it's a Russian helicopter.

My guess goes towards the Mi-6 (But there's like only 5 in service from the source I've read).

it is but it wont be until like 2015 or later. i used to work on the ch46 and now im on the mv22.

I'm pretty sure that "Russian Littlebird" is actually a Sokol, which can support rockets and a frontal coaxial cannon, and has room for troops in the back.

Umm... The CH-46 was cancelled. These guys are guessing which helo that ice is going to make next, since Rhino put them up to the challenge. Why do you think the thread hadn't been locked already?
